I had my IPhone in my shirt pocket. Took it out and all that shows up is a white screen. I can still answer calls if I slide my finger across the screen in the correct area, but I can not see anything but white. I am going to try the restore and forced restore but don't think it will work according to the Apple support guy.

View 6 Replies View Relatedmy bold 9780 keeps showing a white screen. i kept trying to reboot it but whenever the blackberry reboot screen came up it changed to a blank white screen and wouldnt move from there. i took it into a o2 shop & they said to update the software so i did that but still the white screen shows. although it doesnt show now when i am trying to reboot my phone it still shows it while im using my phone and i have to do a battery pull before it will leave the white screen. i can still recieve messages while the white screen is there but i cant see the screen to read them.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI received a call yesterday in the evening and the screen turned white. I tried removing the battery + pressed alt, right caps and del but still did not work. Also tried reloading the OS although it has the latest version of 6.0.0.264 using application loader yesterday. It did not work either. But today morning I went to carphone warehouse, they tried to tweak it but in vain. They suggested it was a hardware problem and had to be sent to bb support (which takes 28 days!!) It was still showing a blank screen. When i reached home, surprisingl y the cell phone was fine (dun ask how). I restored the data which i had saved on the laptop. After a few min tried calling up a friend, and the cell went blank again. I just pressed alt, right caps and del n it seemed to be fine again. Tried calling up and problem still persists.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a BB Curve 8900. Couple of days back, I left it for charging. In an hour time when I rechecked, there was some issue with display, as it was getting distorted. Post this I did a battery pull. Post that when I restarted, there was a complete white screen, nothing else. The phone is booting up, and calls are coming, (as it is vibrating and ringing, and you can pick call), but the screen is completely white, you cannot see anything else, it is completely white.
I did a complete wipe, and reinstalled the OS(OS version 5), but still it is only showing complete white screen.
Blackberry Curve 8520 has locked and just has a white screen. Hasn't been dropped, it just happened. Have tried reloading OS but makes no difference. Is there anything that can be done to fix it?

There is a box with location and a check mark. there is a box with connections and a check mark. A save button and a Details button. This pops up everytime I click on the weather icon. View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Nokia Lumia 1520 fell and the screen glass broke. However the screen was working fine. I ordered a new screen replacement and replaced the screen only to find out that the touch was not working in the new screen assembly so i will return it back.
I put the old screen back again and now i get white tv noise on booting and then the screen goes dark and stays that way. I can hear the sounds from the phone and it does seem like it functions properly but i can't see anything.
I tried soft and hard reset with no luck. What might be the cause for the white noise and dark screen? Could it be a display connector fault on the motherboard?
My Blackberry 8520 curve suddenly hangs giving a white screen and when i restart it - the screen remains white. After i put it into charge - then only a successful start is done. So the only solution as of now i have - is whenever my blackberry hangs - i need to remove the battery - insert it again - and immediately put it into charging via USB/Electric-Power. Even if i re-insert the battery - the white screen comes - unless and until i put it into charging Earlier i was guessing - my battery was weak.

Why does my 3GS have a white screen sometimes, and I have to lock the screen for it to go back to lock screen? Sometimes I have to attempt the lock screen several times, and it still doesn't work. I, then, attempt to restart it by powering it down, and the lock screen will appear again. The display goes out sometimes while I am on a call, and I can't hang up. I have to go through this hole process over and over again.
