My phone has got a white screen with JVM Error 102 showing. I have tried rebooting, taking battery out and leaving etc but not worked. Apparently I can link up my phone using usb to laptop and do a fix but I am unsure how to go about this.

When I try and connect my handset to desktop manager it states that it can't find device. I have tried to reset following instructions on here for the apploader but it wont work and comes up with the following ' The Blackberry Desktop software does not have blackberry device software for the device that you have connected to the computer'.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a BB Curve 8900. Couple of days back, I left it for charging. In an hour time when I rechecked, there was some issue with display, as it was getting distorted. Post this I did a battery pull. Post that when I restarted, there was a complete white screen, nothing else. The phone is booting up, and calls are coming, (as it is vibrating and ringing, and you can pick call), but the screen is completely white, you cannot see anything else, it is completely white.
I did a complete wipe, and reinstalled the OS(OS version 5), but still it is only showing complete white screen.
Blackberry Curve 8520 has locked and just has a white screen. Hasn't been dropped, it just happened. Have tried reloading OS but makes no difference. Is there anything that can be done to fix it?

It often occurs when I'm playing media, using apps and maps. Had the same problem with my previous phone so it was sent in for repair and replaced but I'm still suffering from the same problem with the replacement handset!

There is a box with location and a check mark. there is a box with connections and a check mark. A save button and a Details button. This pops up everytime I click on the weather icon. Is there a way to keep this from popping up every time? It did not used to. I have uninstalled and re-installed the weather app 3 times and 1 time in safe mode. I have edited my permission several times.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI followed the instructions on the website and when I connect it to reload the software, the error number on the screen's device changes to 561 and a window opens to tell me the desktop software can't communicate with my blackberry.Once I clicked on repair and wrote in my password it simply tells me that there are no available updates of BlackBerry Device Software at this time and to put in my email so they can warn me when a new update comes out.I don't need to update the software obviously, just to reload any version of it so my phone can work again.

I can still answer calls if I slide my finger across the screen in the correct area, but I can not see anything but white. Also tried reloading the OS although it has the latest version of 6.0.0.264 using application loader yesterday. It did not work either. But today morning I went to carphone warehouse, they tried to tweak it but in vain. They suggested it was a hardware problem and had to be sent to bb support (which takes 28 days!!) It was still showing a blank screen. When i reached home, surprisingl y the cell phone was fine (dun ask how). I restored the data which i had saved on the laptop. After a few min tried calling up a friend, and the cell went blank again. I just pressed alt, right caps and del n it seemed to be fine again. Tried calling up and problem still persists.

I recently bought a curve.I've been using it for past 3 months.I haven't installed any applications.I arrived abroad and put in a local simIt's been working fine for past 2 weeks, changing from my sim to the local sim Today I swapped sims and I get this message on a white screen "App Error 523 Reset" I take the battery out and it starts up initializing my details..I can quickly open my contacts for about 3-4 seconds but then the screen becomes white with same message.
