BB Curve :: Get This Message On A White Screen "App Error 523 Reset"
May 16, 2011
I recently bought a curve.I've been using it for past 3 months.I haven't installed any applications.I arrived abroad and put in a local simIt's been working fine for past 2 weeks, changing from my sim to the local sim Today I swapped sims and I get this message on a white screen "App Error 523 Reset" I take the battery out and it starts up initializing my details..I can quickly open my contacts for about 3-4 seconds but then the screen becomes white with same message.
I turned my phone on and it comes up with a white screen with the above message. I have tried taking the battery out but just comes back up with that message. When I try and connect my handset to desktop manager it states that it can't find device. I have tried to reset following instructions on here for the apploader but it wont work and comes up with the following ' The Blackberry Desktop software does not have blackberry device software for the device that you have connected to the computer'.
I have a curve 9300 downloaded a game of blackberry app world when it finished it said reboot phone, after I rebooted the screen went white and displayed app error 200 reset. I have tried everything including reinstalling the software on my PC and even an update but the computer says to connect phone when it already is and other times the screen loads black and shows blackberry on it and a bar that realoads and after this it goes right back to the white screen...
I have a white screen with an error message stating `app error 523` tried everything including soft reset and hard reset + download from the blackberry site and still have the same problem?
My phone froze up for a long time. I took the battery out, waited a minute and put it back. Now my phone will not reboot completely. After the Sprint screen, an 'uncaught inception' message pops up, then it proceeds to verify security software.....the screen turns bright white and a tiny message in the middle of the screen says: app error 523 with the word 'reset' highlighted under it.....I can't do anything but click on it, for it to shut down and go through the whole exact thing all over again..
when i turn my blackberry curve 8520 on the screen goes white and a message saying app error 525 reset (or something like that) appears. I have clicked reset numorous amount of times but it still says it and it wont let me do anything.
yesterday casually on my phone downloading an app off of the app world it had completed so it asked me to reset, so i did so i can use this app. when the phone had rebooted after 5 MINUETES which is a piss take, it came up with a white screen with error 204 reset, every time i reset it, it does the same, it wont connect to my computer to wipe it or hard reset it, i need my phone as it is the only way i can contact my family as i dont live near them.
I am a relatively new crackberry user. My phone was working fine when I went to bed. I woke up to a white screen with text that said "JVM Error 517" and the word Reset underneath it. I have tried battery pulls but get the same message. When I plug into desktop mgr, It recognizes the phone but can never connect. I have only had it for about 65 days.
My blackberry bold 9780 now has an error message on a white screen stating App Error 603: Reset. I have connected it to update and though it then turned on error messages then kept popping up whenever I attempted to open an application.
Had an interrupted download from Desktop Services at the weekend and my phone has been "frozen" since with a screen message "app error 285 - reset". have tried reconnecting to Desktop Services to no avail - always connecting never connected.
My Bold is showing a white screen with no error message. Looks like LCD failure. Tried reloading software but did no difference. Started showing white display randomly, and comming back to normal. Now is permanent.Still is under 1 year manufacturer warranty. How can I get RIM to provide support under warranty. Who should I contact or call.?
Yesterday I downloaded one of the free App from Blackberry Apps World. When I rebooted my device, I saw a WHITE SCREEN with an error message APPS ERROR 200 - Reset. I resetted the device several times but still get a WHITE screen with the error message.
This morning my Blackberry Bold has a white screen saying "App Error 523 Reset" I have done a lot of google searches this morning regarding this and my biggest worry is that I have loads of pictures of my newborn baby on this phone that I never saved to sim, and I will be devastated to lose them.Is there ANY WAY at all that these pictures can be saved? At the moment the phone is just on a loop. It starts up, shows the main screen, comes up with an error, loads security software then goes to the white screen with the above message. Will just be so gutted to have lost the pictures. For some reason I could not get the pictures to save to the sim card, so only had them on the phone, and I could never find a way of downloading them from the phone to my computer either.
I'm writing on behalf of my mother in law. She has a blackberry Curve and it has a white loading screen once this comes off it goes to the main screen then after 2 mins an app error 523 comes up and then restarts. This keeps repeating a vicious circle.
My curve firsts gave me error messages uncaught exception application registry get or wait for (0x7c802477365c3985) now my phone keep giving me a white screen when I switch it on with app error 253 reset. Keep resetting and same white screen. What do I do?
My phone has got a white screen with JVM Error 102 showing. I have tried rebooting, taking battery out and leaving etc but not worked. Apparently I can link up my phone using usb to laptop and do a fix but I am unsure how to go about this.
My blackberry has gone to a blank white screen with the words 'app error 205' on the screen. Every time I try to reset my phone it all just repeats. I've got so much information on here. Also, even when I plug it in my computer it doesn't change anything.
Periodically my Curve 3G will display a white screen with the message Connecting to Desktop. This can happen, for example, when I unlock my phone, or connect to a power supply. There is no way of removing the message apart from disconnecting the battery, and then rebooting. The phone cannot be used whilst it is displaying this message.

I followed the instructions on the website and when I connect it to reload the software, the error number on the screen's device changes to 561 and a window opens to tell me the desktop software can't communicate with my blackberry.Once I clicked on repair and wrote in my password it simply tells me that there are no available updates of BlackBerry Device Software at this time and to put in my email so they can warn me when a new update comes out.I don't need to update the software obviously, just to reload any version of it so my phone can work again.
My blackberry Curve 8350i won't turn on. It just goes to a white screen that says error jam. I've tried restarting it and it doesn't help. I need to get a lot of the information off of there before getting a new phone.

My Curve 8520 wont turn on. After being asked to 'reboot' my phone, it will only go to a white screen and says 'App Error 200' There is a button to 'Reset' but when I click on it simply turns the phone off and when it comes on again it just returns to the white screen.
My Blackberry 8520 curve suddenly hangs giving a white screen and when i restart it - the screen remains white. After i put it into charge - then only a successful start is done. So the only solution as of now i have - is whenever my blackberry hangs - i need to remove the battery - insert it again - and immediately put it into charging via USB/Electric-Power. Even if i re-insert the battery - the white screen comes - unless and until i put it into charging Earlier i was guessing - my battery was weak.
