HTC One M7 :: Won't Stop Vibrating As Long As It Has Power?
Oct 29, 2014
Simply put, my HTC One is vibrating.. all the time. As long as it has battery life it is consistently vibrating. I've tried turning all the vibration settings off, and i don't think that is going to affect it. Is there anyway to permanently disable the vibration? Is there anything else I could possibly do? My phone is past any sort of warranty, so I'd rather attempt to saving it before trying to buy a new one. Is there a way to possibly remove the vibrating hardware from the phone?
I woke up this morning and my iphone was next to me. I rolled over and it burned me because of how hot it was. I woke up and noticed it was vibrating too. Not short little vibrates but this one long continuous vibration. Also, the screen was black but in the middle were little white lines. I tried cutting the phone off. It didnt work.
I tried resetting by holding the power and home button. It didnt work. So I went to the bathroom came back and it was still hot and vibrating. As soon as I picked it up to go ask someone about it, the vibration shut off and it seemed the phone was powered off. So I tried the power button again. No luck. I tried the resetting process. No luck.
So recently my iPhone 5C started vibrating after receiving a message over fb messenger and ever since it wont stop vibraing, i have hard-reset the phone several times, i have restored the phone, eraised all content, set up as a new iphone, done the lock,home and up volume button on reset, and it still persists to vibrate. Â
I have a blackberry bold 9900, it will NOT stop vibrating at all, i have removed the battery, sim card and wiped the phone back to its orginal settings and its still vibrating?
I have a pearl 8220, that will not stop vibrating. Took out the battery, replaced itand it still vibrates, tried to turn off vibrate in the sound settings, no luck.
my blackberry curve 8520 not stop vibrating; but its been like if for about 2 weeks; its really starting to annoy me now; ive even tried a new battery;
My Blackberry Curve wont stop vibrating i took the battery out whist the phone was powered on; and left it for 2 days but when i put the battery in it just started again how can i stop this im temporaly using a different phone but its really starting to bug me i only bought my blackberry in november but do not have a warrenty;
The phone vibrates when audio is playing even through bluetooth. It's moving around my desk while Pandora is playing. How do I turn this vibration off? I already took off the Haptic feedback and all the feedback for that matter.
I've had my Nexus 5 for a couple of weeks and from the day one I've noticed that from time to time it stopped vibrating for short periods of time. Then after a couple of seconds, or even a minute it would start up again. It does that at least once or twice a day.
Lollipop 5.0.1 driven G3 are normal, or if there are fixes I am missing. I did switch over my SD card from my previous phone (Galaxy S4) and some things (music, photos, contacts) seem ok, while others aren't...
1) Cannot seem to update/install Apps - It just sits there acting like it is updating, the status bar scrolls, but nothing gets updated (or installed). As an example, I tried updating Facebook through the Google Play Store - My Apps option, sat for 10 minutes, and it never updated (but it still says I need an update). This is true for a large number of Apps that I have. I tried to install Helium so I could back up before a factory reset, and the same thing happened. It never installed.
2) Network vs. Wifi - At home, I use my Wifi connection, and I noticed that both the Wifi signal indicator and the Network Signal indicator display. I know this did not occur on the S4 (with Android. 4.4.4). Is this normal behavior for Lollipop to display both Wifi and Network connectivity?
3) Can't find a microphone for Speech-to-Text messaging on either the LG or Google keyboards. I saw one article that shows it is in the predictive text field area, but it isn't appearing on mine. - Actually - I just resolved this - it is hidden under the settings icon on the LG keyboard. I had to long press the icon for it to display.
4) No Silent Mode from the Long Press of the Power Button.
When sending a long text SMS message it seems to reach a character limit then switch automatically to a MMS media message instead. I have unlimited texts but only 20 media messages per month. Is there any way to stop this happening so I can use texts only and save my media messages?
Long pressing the Power Key to capture the screen shot or any other purpose, my mobile starts playing ringtone. I dont see any option to stop it. The only option is to restart the phone.
Some days after I bought the Xperia X10, I realized I need to hold the power button lont time ti turn the X10 on, is it normal? Can someone tell me, what is the average time for holding the power button?
im using minimalOs as a rom , no modification everything is stock but keep getting lags and the phone does not respond at all the only way to go is a long press on the power button to reboot. i've been experiencing the same issue with many lollipop roms even the factory one is there any solution or hint to shed some light.
I've recently purchased the C3-01 Touch and have set music files as ringtone and text alerts but when I receive a text the music file goes on... and on.... and on.... and on... Its a 4 minute track (WMA file if it makes any difference) and i though that if I didn't pick my phone up after 30 seconds it would just stop but it doesn't, it keeps playing and vibrating causing the battery to drain pretty quick. Is there a way to set the Message / Text alert tone to stop after 30 seconds or so?
I put my tour in vibrate mode the other day. When I got a message (txt, email, facebook, or voicemail) my phone would keep vibrating untill i opened the message. This is the first time it has happened to me. Could there be a setting that causes this? I am running Verizon v4.7.61...I have 3 people set with coustom settings
I have an Xperia Z5 and when ever I press and hold the power button it makes a non stop like it's ringing and I can't stop it unless I switch the phone of.
I keep pressing the power button whilst holding the phone. Is it possible to disable power button? Also why is there a long space/gap? like the above when I type
Just got a refurbished D2G, the Nav app takes a long time to long on > 10min sometimes. Anyone else having this issue? Called VZW up they claim that google pushed out an update which breaks Nav. I called BS, then he tried to blame it on the hurricane.I have been through 4 of these phones, all with different annoying problems, Getting tired of it.
I've searched and am struggling to find much on these. What do they do, and how are they different?
According to HTC: Note: IfData connection is selected, HTC One automatically disconnects from the mobile network after 15 minutes when the screen is off and the data connection is idle (no download activity, streaming, or data usage). It reconnects and then disconnects periodically when the data connection is idle to save battery power.
Do these affect mobile data, Wifi, or both? Do they affect anything else?
I've left these off because I don't know how they work, and am getting fairly short battery life (10 to 15 hours, depending on use).
