i have the xperia z2 and from time to time (like every 7 - 8 days) the phone freezes and stop working even the shut down button stop responding exept it turn off the screen the only way to turn it off is by pressing the turn off button and the volume down button
View 2 RepliesLately, anytime I try to start Google Search (main home screen widget) in either voice mode or typng mode, the app starts, then freezes momentarily, then the phone does a shut down and restarts.
Running 4.4.2 on Sprint.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have the Moto X 2nd gen, and I have been having several issues with the phone, mainly I repeatedly have a "Google Apps" popup saying that is not responding and asking me to report the issue. I get these error maybe 3-4 times a day and restart my phone when the issues doesn't die down.
Also, my phone stops responding at certain times and it just stutters along.
Is this my phone or should I do a factory reset? Also, will the 5.1 update fix any if these issues, I hoping not to have to restore to factory default.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S6, I've had it for about 3 months. It was randomly restarting itself last month but has since stopped that. But 2 days ago I got a whatsapp message and the notification light was flashing but I couldn't get my phone to respond and the screen stayed black. I rebooted it but it did it again the next time I received a message. It is still doing it every time I get a message (whatsapp or text) if the screen is off. It only responds if I reboot. I've cleared the cache partition and it hasn't made a difference. A few times when I've rebooted it it has shut down again as soon as it comes on and does it a couple of times before staying on. I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be doing this! I don't want to do a factory reset.

after using active for a month.i just noticed that the back button fails to respond sometimes it wont give any vibrations at all, except this every other keys and screen works perfectly at that time..and after few seconds the back button comes to respond...
View 4 Replies View RelatedSony Experia play, the home/standby button will still send the phone to standby but it will not wake the phone, i had to use the slide to activate the phone from sleep but now that has stop working. The phone is on and somebody can ring or text (Rings and vibrates) but the screen does not respond. Once in a blue moon it will work fine, then other times i can sit for 20 minutes pressing and sliding for the phone and screen to wake up. I have tried factory reset etc but to no avail.

IN the last 2 months i will go to call someone and the phone is silent(No ringing or voice from the other person). So i started pushing keys on my phone to see if i could hear that and i have come to notice that if i hit "#" all of the sudden it starts ringing or the persons voice is there on the other end. They can hear me the whole time but I cannot hear them. When it starts doing this silent thing I am able to hit the # key for about the 1st 2 phone calls then it does not work what so ever. The other person can hear me but I can hear nothing. I then have to take my battery out and restart my phone and it will work for a few hours or maybe a day but then does the same thing again.

View 1 Replies View RelatedTwice in the past week I got my phone out and it was off and unresponsive. I had to do soft boot with power volume down to get the phone working. This is something that I have not experienced with other android phones. I am on Verizon with stock Galaxy S6 running 5.0.2.
Is this a defective phone or some application causing problems. What steps can I take to troubleshoot the problem. Having my phone randomly stop working is unacceptable as this is my primary line. I can't afford to miss calls.

It is not responding to the buttons
For the last couple of weeks my screen has been starting to act kind of weird. The problem is that the screen become unresponsive from time to time. For the most of the time when the screen stop responding I can "reset" it by pressing the sleep-button and then wake the phone up again or tilt it to landscape-mode.
It's very annoying and I don't know what to do. For example, just a regular text/sms takes like 8-9 "resets" as described above, to finish. I use the latest software for both iOS and iTunes. The phone has not been a subject to "brute force" or any kind of liquids and part from a few very small scratches the phone looks like new (kind of).

I am not able to use my phone lock screen. When I tries to lock then a sign of lock comes and screen freeze. And on pressing back button the phone comes back to the home screen.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have an N97 and every day now the screen will stop responding to touch input. I think this is a hardware issue as I have always updated the firmware as soon as its released and I have the same problem no matter the firmware. Resetting and turning off/on again doesn't solve it. Just have to lock the screen and rub my thumb over the entire screen and it seems to start working again. Could part of the touch screen be getting stuck down?
