Motorola Atrix 4G :: Twitter Contacts Not Syncing
Mar 1, 2012 Since mid January, my Twitter Contacts have not been syncing. I get an error message: Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly.
This has been the error message since January 18. Here are my phone specs:
System: 4.5.141.MB860.ATT.en.US
Android: 2.3.6
I just updated my phone with the most recent update last week, however, as this has been an issue for going on two months, I don't think that the phone is the issue. I have done a FACTORY RESET and the error message is still showing up.
Numerous attempts to contact Twitter has not been successful.

May 12, 2011I just got my Atrix today and apparantly was just dumb enough to upload a contacts CSV file exported from MS Outlook to my Motoblur account. It synced with my new phone and made lots of multiple entries, etc. what a mess! Now I'm reading that I can synch a number of other ways including using Windows Mobile Device Center to sync with my Outlook contacts. Now how do I stop Motoblur from synching/updating contacts and clear the phone contacts so I can sync another way?

Aug 22, 2013I just bought a China Unicom branded 1020 RM-876. It doesn't have Facebook or Twitter in Accounts list! I cannot add and integrate FB or Twitter to my contacts. I can install and use the clients but no integration.
How to add these to accounts list? I see a bunch of other Chinese services mentioned along with Hotmail, Outlook, Google and LinkedIn.

May 30, 2012My Outlook stores multiple contacts for the same person automatically (one with an email address only, one with a phone number only, etc.). When my iPhone syncs with the cloud it stores those multiple contacts and makes it frustrating to look up one person's number and email under separate entries. How do I prevent my iPhone from storing the duplicate contacts?

Lumia 950 XL :: Skype Contacts Syncing
Dec 2, 2015When I was using Insider Preview, Messaging+Skype was working fairly good. I was able to send skype messages get skype messages, but most importantly I was able to see if my contact is also in my Skype account or not. Now with my 950XL although many people are also my Skype friends I cannot see Skype option in their regular SMS threads, a different thread with different name pops up when they send a message, but I cannot link that contact name with their "REAL CONTACT CARD". It is really weird that a feature works better on a Beta version than the RTM version on the Flagship phone.

Sep 2, 2010I have BB Tour that is a corporate cell phone and is set up using Microsoft Exchange to receive my corporate e-mails. We use MS Outlook as our mail program.I was just playing around in Outlook trying to figure out how to attach my business card to the end of e-mails I send and soon realized I was looking at all of my personal cell numbers of friends, family etc. in Outlook on my corporate lap top ! Yikes ! I don't want my mom, ex wife, current GF's etc. contact info on my corporate laptop.Is there a way to get my Tour and/or Outlook to stop syncing my phone contacts to my my computer?

I'm working with Exchange 2003 SP2 and has been running fine up till last week. The problem is:Schoolagenda: is syncing good but it took forever and after I deleted another agenda. So no problems here (for now)Facebook verjaardagen: Still has the old name (Facebook test). I changed the name a while after the creation Werkagenda: Created this as last and has a few entries. Doesn't show up on my phone at all?

Nov 21, 2012For all you EE customers out there here is what I did and how I got it working on 2G and 3G but not 4G.
1. Get a phone that can take your 3G SIM. I found my Nokia Lumia 800 for carphone warehouse worked.
2. Put your SIM in and let it register 2G.
3. On your 920 with no SIM in, go to Settings -> mobile network and TURN DATA OFF
4. Get your now registered SIM from your old/other phone and put it in your 920 and boot it up.
5. The phone should now boot and not crash.
6. Go to Setings -> Mobile Network and change "Highest Connection Speed" to 3G and then turn the "data connection" back on.
7. Life should be pretty good now (unless you live in a 4G area).
Nokia Lumia :: Music Does Not Stop When Unpluging?
Nov 29, 2012when I unplug my headphones music (in my case podcast) continues to play when I unplug my headphones. The audio comes out the built in speakers at the bottom of the phone. Other times, I get a short (less than 1 second) bit of sound out of the bottom built in speakers. This is really annoying to my wife who wakes up from the sound when I unplug my headphones in bed after she has gone to sleep. I expect no sound out of the peakers when I unplug the headset. Seems like a timing issue and a surprise removal can be hard to deal with, but you got it right with the 900.I used to have that phone before the 920 and it never had that issue.

Emails, contacts and calenders etc get synced with our exchange server but e72 shows connected but the emails or the contacts des not get downloaded (synced). I tried this with E71 same problem. But on iphones and android etc. based handsets it works absolutely high.

Dec 9, 2012Cant understand why the backup to PC of vital Lumia phone information such as contacts, calendar and messges can not be easily and quickly achieved as with the Nokia suite and N8. I believe it is synced automatically to Sky-drive but I cannot find evidence of this. I would like to have control of this data for easy retrieval and stored on my PC. Windows phone software on my PC is sub standard in comparison with Nokia Suite. It is clunky, contacts cannot be backed up, photos have no picture reference when transferred and the overall Windows Phone software on my PC is second rate in contrast to the Windows Phone 8 phone experience. Can anyone enlighten me on how I can easily copy my contacts to PC. No problem getting contacts into the phone. Just unclear on how to get a copy of them out.

Nov 22, 2010I just recently got my xperia x10 and had to almost immediately upgrade to the 2.1 system. I am noticing a few things that I'm not fussy about from the 1.6 system but the thing that is bugging me the most is that I cannot (figure out how to) link contacts in my phonebook to their facebook and twitter accounts. In 1.6, when you edited a contact it gave you the option to click LINK. I cannot find any of this on the new system. As well, for contacts that I had linked before, their facebook profile pic (current from the time when i linked them before upgrading to 2.1) shows up on their contact information (i usually only link facebook, as i dont use twitter as much) and their profile is linked. However when i go into EDIT, it says FACEBOOK, Timescape and a big exclamation mark that has a message beside it saying : Timescape Plug-In Manager contact information is not editable on this device.
i SHOULD be able to edit and link all my contacts. that was the whole purpose of the xperia having this timescape program.
