I have Twitter downloaded and when I go to to settings and accounts it shows that I'm signed in. But when I go to my contacts settings and accounts it's not there. Facebook, Skype and LinkedIn are there but not Twitter. I want to be able to link my contacts to their Twitter accounts.

I have a new phone. AT&T couldn't add my Droid Maxx to their service, so now I have a phone, with contacts from google, but the contacts don't have any phone numbers even though on a computer I can clearly see the phone numbers. Need transferring contacts from google to galaxy s6 contacts. With out phone numbers, and phone isn't really a phone.

How do I associate a person's Twitter pictur, with their contact info. I have some contacts that I ONLY contact via twitter, and want them to show up in my contacts, but I want their associated Twitter pic to show in my contacts, and ideally be automatically updated, like Facebook does when a contact there updates their picture.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just recently got my xperia x10 and had to almost immediately upgrade to the 2.1 system. I am noticing a few things that I'm not fussy about from the 1.6 system but the thing that is bugging me the most is that I cannot (figure out how to) link contacts in my phonebook to their facebook and twitter accounts. In 1.6, when you edited a contact it gave you the option to click LINK. I cannot find any of this on the new system. As well, for contacts that I had linked before, their facebook profile pic (current from the time when i linked them before upgrading to 2.1) shows up on their contact information (i usually only link facebook, as i dont use twitter as much) and their profile is linked. However when i go into EDIT, it says FACEBOOK, Timescape and a big exclamation mark that has a message beside it saying : Timescape Plug-In Manager contact information is not editable on this device.
i SHOULD be able to edit and link all my contacts. that was the whole purpose of the xperia having this timescape program.
Since mid January, my Twitter Contacts have not been syncing. I get an error message: Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly.
This has been the error message since January 18. Here are my phone specs:
System: 4.5.141.MB860.ATT.en.US
Android: 2.3.6
I just updated my phone with the most recent update last week, however, as this has been an issue for going on two months, I don't think that the phone is the issue. I have done a FACTORY RESET and the error message is still showing up.
Numerous attempts to contact Twitter has not been successful.
In particular I'm missing birthdates and anniversaries that I have included in my Gmail contacts.

My S6 on AT&T is having sync issues. At girt it was just my Google contacts, every so often they wouldn't sync and when I went to setting it would give a sync error message for my Google contacts. Then I noticed my Outlook app wasn't syncing, only after I opened the app. Now the same is happening with my Yahoo email app.

I don't want to use my gmail account to hold all my contacts because I used Outlook.com for emails. If i were to ever make a new contact on my phone, it then wouldn't sync with my windows live acct. View 7 Replies View RelatedI had a GS5 and I was able to sync facebook contacts to my device contact list with ease. However, I can't do the same with my GS6 Edge. Going to accounts-> facebook, only shows my account with a gray "refresh" bar saying " sync turned off" and it gives me no option to turn it on. Master Sync is turned on, and Sync from the main pulldown bar is turned on as well. I'm getting ready to chuck this phone at the wall cuz Im so frustrated. This was not an Issue with my GS5.

Don't care about the email (frankly I don't want to be able to reached at all times for work requests). I think the software that I want to use is Kies. I have a few concerns that I want to clear up before using.
1 - I do not want my phone to overwrite what is on the computer. That would be a disaster. How do I prevent this from happening?
2 - I have many different calendars on my outlook and only want to sync one of them. How can I do this?
3 - What else should I watch out for before syncing. I want to avoid any hiccups if at all possible. Losing the work calendar would result in some mass chaos for a few weeks.
how often the social apps for facebook and twitter sync for those accounts integrated on the RAZR. On the Bionic which was very similar, we had the option of selection "PUSH" or we could fetch the data for those feeds at different time frames. I dont see that option at all on the RAZR, and i would rather not have push going all day for facebook and twitter...

The notifications work fine on my M8 but I've never been able to get them working on my S6 nor was I able to do so on my Note 4. Is that a Samsung issue? Whenever I try to change the sound notification on my phone it takes it back to default. It does it both on the app itself and in the app manager. Is this a bug with the phone or the app itself? I am assuming it's a bug with the app itself as all of the other notifications are allowing me to change the sound.
