I have copied my contacts from my old phone via Bluetooth to this device and then I used the "Move device contacts to" option in the contacts app and choose the Samsung Account option to back them up. But what if I decide to switch to a non-Samsung device? How do I take the contacts from Samsung Account and at least copy them to Google account?
View 1 RepliesI received a new gs5 phone. I crushed my previous gs5 and after retrieving files and resetting it, I mailed it off for my insurance claim.
While setting up the new gs5 everything went smoothly, but for some reason my Samsung account would not sync, displayING "sync unavailable right now, we areally working to fix the issue"(or some thing along the lInes of that. I didn't think much of it.
Now everything a Samsung app goes to update, it says update failed and the app is deleted. I started to get concerned... I went to the Samsung App store directly and upon entering it said my Samsung app store needed to be updated, and now it is deleted too.
The S Health app seems to be the only app that I am noticeably able to use that Samsung had on my phone. The Geo News app says registration failed every time I loads up.
When I reset my phone, it has a pop-up bog that says "Download Fail. Please try again later".
When I go to settings ->Accounts ->Google it says 'sync error' and when I refresh it keeps giving me the error. At the bottom of the screen it says "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly".

AT&T couldn't add my Droid Maxx to their service, so now I have a phone, with contacts from google, but the contacts don't have any phone numbers even though on a computer I can clearly see the phone numbers. I don't want to use my gmail account to hold all my contacts because I used Outlook.com for emails. If i were to ever make a new contact on my phone, it then wouldn't sync with my windows live acct. At girt it was just my Google contacts, every so often they wouldn't sync and when I went to setting it would give a sync error message for my Google contacts. Then I noticed my Outlook app wasn't syncing, only after I opened the app. Now the same is happening with my Yahoo email app.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI had a GS5 and I was able to sync facebook contacts to my device contact list with ease. However, I can't do the same with my GS6 Edge. Going to accounts-> facebook, only shows my account with a gray "refresh" bar saying " sync turned off" and it gives me no option to turn it on. Master Sync is turned on, and Sync from the main pulldown bar is turned on as well. I'm getting ready to chuck this phone at the wall cuz Im so frustrated. This was not an Issue with my GS5.

It says "Sync Error" under my google account, and the Contacts has the sync icon with ! next to it, and below it says, "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly.".
I've restarted the phone, then disabled data, restarted phone, enabled data, still no luck. My calendar syncs no problem. I don't want to delete my google account and re-add it, as I have most likely added contacts on the phone since 7/24, and they would be lost.
My Z5 compact calendar on google account only sync through wifi. (only calendar not syncing - to do)With mobile data it gives errors although internet, facebook, etc is working. Also Whatsapp messages sometimes only arrive when app is opened. Stamina mode turned off.

When I tried to change the account, it cannot be done cause I have to do the factory reset in privacy setting (which will erase all my personal info and downloaded applications). I don't want that to happen as well. Plus, my my brother can't even remember what the password he has used for the Samsung account I'm very pissed off now that my Samsung account belong to him and the fact that I can't do the factory reset because of him. I can create a contact on (web) google contacts and it immediately syncs to my phone; nowhere else.

I want to receive emails from my gmail account in lumia 1320. Because there are several emails saved in my gmail.server, these mails plus attachments totally use 5 GBs. However, in Lumia 1320, except system files and apps, only 1.5GBs storage is left.
Can I receive google mails by lumia 1320?
If I delete a mail from lumia 1320, whether will this mail be delete from google server at the same time?

When new contact is created there is option either to create it as local (no sync) or as synced on account.Once there are local contacts created there is no option to sync it with an account.I have quite a few and do not like to retype all.

When I sync my iPhone 4 with my computer, it says it can't sync with my Yahoo account (as it has been for the past year) because I don't have an internet connection. I have wireless interent connection and I've checked everything - it's hooked up and I've tried to close out programs, restart etc. I have the latest iTunes version on my computer.

So I was wondering how to sync my contacts from my google account to my phone. My wife had a Samsung and I synced the contacts with her google account but the contacts won't sync back to her new Icon. Is this not possible?
