A week ago all of a sudden i cant seem to sync my fb to my s6 edge contacts, when i checked the fb app settings, if you keep scrolling down the facebook contacts sync is missing from the app. I'm using an s6 as well and its there and everything is working

I've tried going into accounts and sync with facebook but that just brings all my fb friends into my contacts list. i do not want this.I just want my current contacts to be linked to fb and not export my entire fb list onto my phone.
View 24 Replies View RelatedI had a GS5 and I was able to sync facebook contacts to my device contact list with ease. However, I can't do the same with my GS6 Edge. Going to accounts-> facebook, only shows my account with a gray "refresh" bar saying " sync turned off" and it gives me no option to turn it on. Master Sync is turned on, and Sync from the main pulldown bar is turned on as well. I'm getting ready to chuck this phone at the wall cuz Im so frustrated. This was not an Issue with my GS5.

On my Z3, no events, birthdays etc is listed in stock xperia calendar app - xperia with facebook is correctly installed an calendar is checked.
I have a samsung galaxy s6 edge and everytime I log on to Facebook a popup comes up that says Facebook wants access to your Samsung Galaxy. I have given it access and it still comes up everytime I log on and it's starting to get very annoying. I have turned off my notifications yet this pop up keep coming up.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a S6 edge and trying to find out where is the network mode can be found. Far is I know, it should be under the "mobile network" menu, but is not there. All I have under the "mobile networks" menu is: Mobil data, International Data Roaming, Access Point Names and Network operators. None of these including the "network mode".
If I try to find it in the search, it takes me straight to where is should be, but again, is not there.
icloud will only sync my facebook contacts to my iphone, the rest will not sync.....

View 4 Replies View RelatedI got a Galaxy S6 Edge a couple of weeks ago. Everything was as it should be until a few days ago. The phone icon went missing and it's not listed with in the apps area/drawer. However, when I check under Application Manager, its shows three phone applications which seem to be dupes. They can't be uninstalled or disabled. I've done force close and restarted the phone but no luck. I'm using Nova Launcher. I just got the the phone set-up the way I wanted so the the thought of a factory reset makes me queasy.

But something just does not seem right while using apps that require scrolling up or down. EX: Facebook, Twitter, Play Store and especially the browser. Just to note Im on TMobile and am experiencing these after an uodate and factory reset after the update.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI cannot check the box that says "Connect your Facebook account with BlackBerry contacts application." When I try to check this box it just goes to the menu. Same for BlackBerry Calendar application.
The only one that I can check is BlackBerry Message application, and I'm not interested.
I used to be able to do this with the previous version of Facebook for BlackBerry. I have tried re-installing a few times, with no success. So my contacts are not syncing with Facebook now (they sync to older, cached FB info).
I have upgraded to the latest devices software and i have now lost the ability to sync with Outlook contacts wirelessly.
