May 13, 2012Whenever I sent a text message, it comes through as my email address instead of my phone number. When I went to Settings > Messages, under "Receive at", is at my email address as the default and next to my phone number it says Error.I upgraded my phone, is there a reason this is happening? No one is really getting my texts.

After the volume of discussions after the GB release my inbox was blowing up but turning off notifications appears to have no effect...they still keep coming!!

I have disabled all the moto actions, but the clock screen is still constantly coming up whenever the phone moves, such as when I'm walking or it is sitting on the passenger seat in my car! I can make it stop by disabling moto display, but since there's no LED to notify me when I get a text or email, I'll never know....

Sep 1, 2015On my s6, my email was working perfectly fine on the stock client, then about 6 weeks ago, it started pulling in everything that was going to my junk mail folder(from outlook). I have deleted the email account on the computer and phone, multiple times, but still the junk emails come through. I'm getting like 400 junk emails per day. I use GoDaddy as our server and they block out the majority of the emails as I can see them in the junk folder on my computer, but everything in that junk folder comes through to my phone....It's essentially syncing the junk folder and inbox instead of JUST the inbox.......

When I try to return to the original Picture from living earth the screen is black with the format button on the bottom.

On previous symbian devices this was largely solved by freeing up some phone memory, is it the same on the n900? df -h / in x term says 71% free. or is this normal for the phone, given i flashed it recently and that apparently made no difference

Nov 30, 2010This is very strange, for the past few weeks now my device stops receiving emails in the afternoons. Sometimes it's from noon-11pm, other times it's a few hours say from 2pm-5pm. I just can't get my head around it. I'm still collecting mail in my PC inbox but it's not getting pushed to my device and they all come in at once later on. This is just a regular pop mail account like mail.mydomain.com. I've had the same host for years without problem and a blackberry for about 5. It's a blackberry bold 9000 (I've had since Jan 09) and on the Rogers network in Canada.

Before the update I could just turn my phone on vibrate or mute and the alerts wouldn't interrupt my music. I'll be singing along to a song when suddenly the music stops, an alert tone comes on and the "new sms message" pops up on my radio display. It's bad enough that half of my apps stop working randomly for no reason since the update.

May 6, 2015Just got my GS6 about 2 weeks ago and then had my work email/outlook added to it. Now all of my texts are being auto-forwarded to my work email, which I do not want! How do I stop this from happening? I saw a similar thread about SGS2's, but I think the locations of settings must have changed a bit because those directions were not completely compatible. I want to make sure I can still view my work email on my phone; just don't want my personal texts going into my work's email/network.
