Samsung Galaxy S II :: Use A Normal Micro Hdmi To Normal Size One For Viewing On Tv?
Jul 19, 2011
Is it possible to use a normal micro hdmi to normal size one for viewing on tv? I see the Samsung one has to be ran off the power cable too or is this just for the official Samsung one?
On Xperia neo v is it possible to coonect to a normal computer monitor with a suitable bridge connection(a cable of some kind) between HDMI cable & the monitor?
the incoming call alert is not working.... no sound comes during an incoming call I checked and the phone is not in silent or vibration mode. the ringtone works when i select one but no sound durinh an incoming call.
The browser on this Tour sucks big time. Too tiny and magnifying it still doesn't make it big enough. Is there a program (opera?) to make it regular looking/size? I already have my fonts as big as they will go, but I'm an old chick and even with the glasses and my nose on the screen its a pain in the rear. Anybody have a suggestion for me? Sorry if this is posted 8 thousand times already, I swear I did a 'search' but don't understand any of the answers.
Edge get quite hot with normal use. When I say hot I don't meant not able to touch the phone but the aluminum bezel especially gets quite hot. I haven't noticed it in the past with my previous sapphire black probably because I've has a case on it.
I recently got a S6 and copied my S5 onto it. I haven't switched yet as I enjoy my S5 because of the screen, replaceable battery and SD slot. So I'm only playing around with the S6 at home.
I didn't use it for a day after charging it full and was very surprised when it started beeping about the battery after only 33 hours.
I have a iPhone 6 that I use only at home for different things I need iOS for and I get at least 72 hours out of that one.
Does it sound like normal battery use? No SIM only WiFi.
I'm used to the fast battery drain on this phone, but today it started acting up. I charged it at work to 100%, I took it off the charger and immediately it dropped to 99%, 15-20 seconds later, 98%, a few seconds later, 97%. It's slowed down a little, but it's been 8 minutes and I'm at 92%. Nothing major running in the background, brightness is around 40%. I can't figure this out. I did a soft restart, still rapidly draining.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and I changed the font in the system settings. When I first opened the Facebook app it showed the correct font I chose but then once I closed out and went in a second time the font is the normal font. Everything else on my phone shows the "Rosemary" font except Facebook. I called Samsung and they told me it had to be an issue with Facebook but yet 5 of my friends that have an S5 don't have any problems!
Still have data when playing music though. Sometimes I need to look something up one Google or whatever when I'm in the middle of a call. I thought I was supposed to be able to multitask?
I generally don't have trouble getting through a work day with my S6, but I do wonder whether the Android utilization is high. During a typical day (1 - 2 hours SOT, 14-15 hours off charger), I'm burning about 60%-70% of total battery, 30% of which is Android System (~22%) and Android Kernel (~8%). Google Play and other apps are all typically < 5%. Is this normal, or does this indicate that a factory reset might be a good idea? On previous phones I don't recall core Android being this high (usually <10%).
I've read in the edge subforum, even my s6 flat has some problem when I try to view a photo in the gallery on landscape. It stuck in normal view. In other app (message, browser and others) it works fine? I've try wipe cache and wipe data gallery app but it still doesn't works.
I have the 8350i and a normal Nextel SIM with text data and voice. the blackberry works fine with voice but data and texts wont receive. I cant even find a way to create or send a text on the blackberry. I have looked all over including simple places like a specific contact i just cant find an option to create a SMS or MMS message.
i just bought my iphone 4s like 2 weeks ago, on my 1st few days i realised that it heats up when i was turning on my music. But after i put on a casing, i didnt felt it.. only when i take it off, i can really feel the heat... is that a norm or should i get it changed?
My iPhone 4s gets very very warm, to the point where I can't hold it for a long time. It's worse when its charging but I've noticed it when I've not used it for an hour or so. I don't use a case and everything else seems to be working okay. Is it normal or should I take it too an Apple store?
Android platform after using palm, windows mobile, blackberry. In all of those platforms I was able to view my calendar while I was on a phone call. Android will only give me the option to view my contacts or write a memo while on a call. Is there a way to switch between screens and applications while on a call in SGSII?
I Never owned a white iphone, How hard is it to keep it clean under normal use?Folks that have owned white iphones in the past, How hard is it to keep it clean under normal use? Would you get it in white again?
I have the 8520 and earlier today it said that there was an update available for bbm. I installed the update and it told me to reboot the phone, which i did 3 hours ago. The home screen is there but is completely frozen is this normal?
Sometimes my phone displays a notification that ( unfortunately Settings has stopped ) though I haven't been using my phone for a long time. Is it normal that settings stop by itself ? Is using some apps may cause this?
Absolutely loved the Lumia 950XL when I first set hands on it, only to be disappointed after one day after the other.Apart from the weak battery life, OS crash with reboot, premium quality case creaking... There has been a matter troubling me a lot if this phone is to last for a couple of years. Towards the lower half of the screen (I assume that is where the CPU is), the heat given of is almost unbearably hot to touch (Like gliding your finger tip across a boiling kettle). Occasionally the incense of burning plastic is given out too. Normal usage being browsing on Edge, checking mail and texting, skyping and listening to music.
All in all, it has been a downhill ride, either it might be holding too high expectations for a premium budget phone, or that my suspicions of defective hardware are true.As much as I would like to return for refund, the new windows 10 OS is holding me back, wish there would be more choices for a phone with this OS and hardware specs, but a more long standing and reliable manufacturer.
I purchased a blackberry curve 8530 on thursday, and have used it for one full day now. The mute button is EXTREMELY sensitive, but only from non-direct touch angles - so basically it goes into mute mode when I do not expect it. This is becoming a massive annoyance.
Is this a normal problem with these phones, or should I try to get a replacement? Will they make me go to RIM to have them send me a refurbished phone for my 1 day old brand new phone?
