I have the 8350i and a normal Nextel SIM with text data and voice. the blackberry works fine with voice but data and texts wont receive. I cant even find a way to create or send a text on the blackberry. I have looked all over including simple places like a specific contact i just cant find an option to create a SMS or MMS message.

I switched from my Nextel 8350i to the new Bold 9650 on Sprint. So they had to switch networks for me. I already had a sprint.blackberry.net email established over at Nextel - but when
I go online at the sprint.blackberry.com site to add my emails - it won't let me add this one - if I put in the info as an established email - it asks me for the server name. I talked to tech support a good 40 minutes with no help what so ever! I even looked into it like they may have canceled my email - but when I enter it as a new one it says it's taken. So anyone know how I can add my existing blackberry email account to this new phone/network?
Is it possible to use a normal micro hdmi to normal size one for viewing on tv? I see the Samsung one has to be ran off the power cable too or is this just for the official Samsung one?

I have full bars, NXTL next to them, and everything is working fine but I cannot get the word to appear back on my home screen. I've tried a reboot, battery pull, radio reset, etc. but can't get it to come back up. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Nothing is wrong with it, but it's kind of freaking me out.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am trying to help a friend that has a 8350i from nextel Brazil. The problem is I can't get the sprint software to instal on it. I've even erased the entire operating system from it and used the BB desktop software to upload sprint's os, but it won't allow me. It only lets me restore up to the os nextel Brazil uses. He has a US Nextel sim card in it with the everything data plan. Phone and direct connect works fine but no data or email setup options.
Sprint store was of no help, they really can't do much since the serial number is from nextel Brazil. I guess my question would be, is there a way to bypass the bb desktop software to allow the installation of US nextel OS? or is it possible if he calls costumer service and get them to register the bb pin in his account he'll be able to set up email and data?
I've looked in some older threads and had no luck, thus I come to you with a brand spanking new thread! I have a Blackberry 8350i with Nextel Direct Connect through Sprint/Nextel.
Where I work, we are regularly using the direct connect to keep in touch with coworkers. As a result, a couple of issues have come up (and from what I've seen, I'm not alone)... I'm wondering if there are any solutions for these:
1] Direct Send My Info - Shows up every time someone tries to contact me via DC. Most of our employees still use the motorola i335 (or older models), so it may be something they have no control over. However, given how often the direct connect is in use, it means I receive 50-100 of these messages a day that have no substance.
2] Contact Issues - It appears that there is some disconnect between contacts and the direct connect feature. I have contacts stored (via Contacts App) with their direct connect numbers included. However, when they come up as having called on DC, their names do not come up. In addition, it seems that, on several occasions, my direct connect list outright vanishes. This is only mildly frustrating when 100 contacts are stored. It seems as though the DC contacts are not connected to the BB contacts.

I know its no super cruel digi cam, but still it should perform better then this. Think most ordinary digi cams are worse then many high end phones when it comes to sharpness, (sure, full size there beat digi cam bigger sensor, but the rest? All pics is shot in auto.

I recently purchased a new Bold 9700 and I noticed that the battery drains very quickly. It only lasts about 4 hours if the Mobile Network, WiFi and Blue Tooth are enabled. Also, I have recently installed the latest software updates.Is it normal for the battery to drain this quickly while the phone is on stand by mode?

View 7 Replies View RelatedAbsolutely loved the Lumia 950XL when I first set hands on it, only to be disappointed after one day after the other.Apart from the weak battery life, OS crash with reboot, premium quality case creaking... There has been a matter troubling me a lot if this phone is to last for a couple of years. Towards the lower half of the screen (I assume that is where the CPU is), the heat given of is almost unbearably hot to touch (Like gliding your finger tip across a boiling kettle). Occasionally the incense of burning plastic is given out too. Normal usage being browsing on Edge, checking mail and texting, skyping and listening to music.
All in all, it has been a downhill ride, either it might be holding too high expectations for a premium budget phone, or that my suspicions of defective hardware are true.As much as I would like to return for refund, the new windows 10 OS is holding me back, wish there would be more choices for a phone with this OS and hardware specs, but a more long standing and reliable manufacturer.
I'm usually using 70% of ram at any given time..

just bought my iphone 4s from DIGI 2 weeks ago, sometimes i cant answer incoming call while the screen jus hanging on "unlock phone" screen & only on vibration "while i not on silent mode".Then, going back DIGI for advice, but any ask me to update to IOS 5.1.1.
After updating IOS, nightmare started, the phone getting hot in normal usage even warm while i put on sleep mode. Is this normal for brand new iphone 4s which battery only support up to 6 hours standby with minimum usage?
