Galaxy S5 :: Phone Auto Power Off When Getting Call Or Go On Line?
Sep 11, 2015
i have mkt 6572 samsung galaxy s5 copy wcdma phone.when making a call/answer call and go INTERNET , auto power off. i change battery ,but not solve this problem.
If you use the setting to have the power button end a phone call, how do you turn the screen back on if it goes black during a phone conversation without ending the call?
When I am on a call and start my car, my S6 won't automatically transfer the call to my car's BT. I have to pause the conversation and select BT from the phone then it transfers.
Is there a way to ensure it transfer automatically?
a buddy of mine is on verizon and NOT on a blackberry, I know what the crap is wrong with him right? Anywho, he has something set up that when he gets a phone call and doesn't want to answer it he just hits ignore and has it set up that it will automatically send a text message to that number saying "i'm in a meeting I will call you back" is this possible to set up with a Blackberry Curve 8330 on Sprint? Thats what I have.
Having a strange issue where the phone won't power off using the physical power button, the camera keeps coming up, and the phone gets really hot.
Did the soft reset by holding power + volume down for 7 seconds and had it restart, power off, and safe restart, all of which I was able to do successfully, but each time the phone has the same issue when it boots back up.
How to turn off the power up sound on the S5? I prefer no noise when I start my phone (now if you could also get rid of the Verizon screen... but I know better)...
i have a samsung galaxy s5 everytime i get a call or try and make a call my phone hangs up, before I can pick up the phone and I push the green slider it hangs up when I go to make a call when I push dial it hangs up and it will keep doing it. and sometimes it acts good and will go through. what do I do?
I have a Galaxy S5 with Lollipop through AT&T and had Best Buy install my Pioneer AVH-4100NEX. I updated the Pioneer firmware, set it up to look for Android Auto on USB2, Android Auto is set to start automatically, and I have the phone and Pioneer connected via Bluetooth. However, when I plug the micro-USB into the phone, all it does is start charging; nothing pops up saying the phone isn't compatible or anything else and I don't get the Android Auto ToS message. When I pull up the AV menu on the Pioneer, neither the USB1 nor USB2 icons are lit up. I've tried plugging the phone in with and without the Android Auto application installed. I double-checked and Best Buy did plug the USB into USB2 using the USB cable from the box. USB Debugging is enabled on the phone.
I am having with the Google search bar on my home screen? Before I installed lollipop I was able to go into the settings on Google and just clear the search history on the search bar. However since installing lollipop I can no longer use the same method and am forced to clear each search subject individually.
Any android app for S5 that would auto response (with dialer) for a particular phone number? So basically if phone number (000) 123-4567 call me, I need my app to response with 9888 using the dialer. I've search for a few hours now but all come up with SMS response. Perhaps if android would allow to program for such macro?X
My Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is locked--""Unable to recognize your fingerprint. Enter your backup password to unlock the device". Apparently I do not know the password.
It is in Ultra Power Saving mode. I have tried Android Device Manager...the message I entered shows on the screen, but the temporary password I set does not work. Almost feels like the screen I'm entering that password on is the wrong screen, and I'm limited by the power saving features.
Not sure what else to try; Samsung's Locate my Phone doesn't seem useful.
How do I fix power sharing apps as i cannot charge my samsung s6 properly after last update. I checked the application manager the apps already installed and there but when i try to look it in the menu there i cannot see the apps. Try to replace my charger and try another charger but the result was the same. How to uninstall. Also i already clear the data, cache and even force stop.
I tried to flash the newest Vodafone firmware (PDA G920FXXU3QOJQ, CSC G920FVFG3QOJQ, Modem G920FXXU3QOJQ) on my G920F using Odin.
The first ROM i tried was corrupted and didn't pass the md5-check, so i downloaded a new one from samdownloads.de and tried again.
Odin shows the usual messages until hidden.img is written, after that it says "Complete (write) operation failed" and, after reboot, leaves me with a warning screen reading
"An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software."
I can power it down and reset with power+vol down, but it only gets to the same turqoise screen again and thats it. If I press the combo immediately, i can get into d/l mode, also.
Just checked a second time, failed again, now i am stuck with a phone that doesn't power off anymore. Waiting for the battery to die is not an option, just charged it, around 95% full. I suppose i have to flash a new bootloader? My TWRP is also gone, bad news. Do I have to install modem, bootloader and pit file now?
for some reason i cannot hear the people i make calls too, i had my headphones in and removed them during a call and now i cannot hear the people i call. Ive tried resetting things and turning up the volume, but i still cant hear.
I use auto power on/off on my BB Tour 9630. When it powers on it does not enable bluetooth automatically. I then have to manually enable bluetooth with Manage Connections. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Then I launch options scroll to Bluetooth and then enable Bluetooth there. Again sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes I have to repeat, repeat this step or power off manually then power on. Thinking I should leave it powered on 24/7 and just leave bluetooth on 24/7.
My Blackberry Curve had an auto power on/off feature. I could set it to turn off at midnight and then on again at 7:00, saving my battery. is there software I can download to my Samsung Code to enable this feature since I'm unable to find it already on the phone?
For some reason in the last hour, my new S6 has started to behave oddly.
It's acting like the 'back button' is randomly being pressed. It makes it impossible to open an app, send a txt or do anything, as it backs out of everything all the time.
The phone has been great for 2 days, and now it won't stop doing this back-thing.
I've done a soft factory reset and just now, a hard factory reset and it's still doing to same thing. I can't even get through initial registration...
I have been using Samsung phone series since long. I never faced ever any kind of difficulties to use other series of Samsung except Samsung S6....First of all there is no option to forward contact name and numbers through SMS. Second is all photos has been shifted from Phone Gallery to Google Gallery. Now I unable to add any photos in my contact numbers also I downloaded photo but did not find in the photo gallery.
I've set my phone to auto backup my photos when I'm on my wi-fi and also plugged in and charging. It says my backup has failed with a little yield logo with an exclamation point. I clicked the manual refresh circle to the right of that message and it keeps failing. If I view my photos in the Gallery almost all of them have only the device card symbol, and only a few from when the phone was new have the colored logo on the duplicate photo.
After activating my Ultra Power Saving mode, I was able to deactivate, however my phone then went into a similar power saving mode, grey scale screen, no apps and no option to exit the mode available on any accessible parts of the settings. Is this a bug? or have I activated a mode I didn't intend to?
I managed to lock myself out of my Samsung galaxy s5, and now my phone is now asking for an alternative password (which I don't remember setting).
I tried going onto android/google device manager but the phone seems to have glitched from what I believe is because I put it in ultra power saving mode.
it's possible to disable ultra power saving mode while the phone is still locked.
p.s. I also rooted my phone before I became locked out of it.
