Aug 17, 2015I have a galaxy s6 and is there anyway to auto play videos on it cut I had this feature on the note 3 but I don't seem to find it on the s6.

Samsung Galaxy S II :: Videos Won't Play On Other Devices
May 20, 2011Video files recorded on my sgs2 have the file extension mp4 but wont play on my sony bravia tv or via my sumvision cyclone mkv2 media player. They do however play on my windows 7 laptop.wehen playing a video on the sgs2 you can get more info by tapping menu/details. This tells me the format is 3gpp. I believe 3gpp forms a simple wrapper around the mp4 file and suspect this is the element my other devices can't handle.If I copy the files to my laptop and convert them to mp4 using [RZ Video Converter] program then copy them back to my sgs2... They now play fine on all my devices including the sgs2.

Jul 8, 2010How can I get videos from my computer to play on my phone? I've tried mp4 and 3gp and I can put them on my SD card but they don't show up on my phone anywhere, in any of the folders. I've already formatted my card, etc. I am adding them by connecting the phone with USB. If I need to actually take the card out, put it in the adapter and plug it into my computer, that is fine, but I am unsure of how to get my card out of my phone, haha, I don't see anyway to get it out.

Mar 22, 2015I've set my phone to auto backup my photos when I'm on my wi-fi and also plugged in and charging. It says my backup has failed with a little yield logo with an exclamation point. I clicked the manual refresh circle to the right of that message and it keeps failing. If I view my photos in the Gallery almost all of them have only the device card symbol, and only a few from when the phone was new have the colored logo on the duplicate photo.

Aug 1, 2014My HTC One recorded several videos but cannot play them. On my camera roll in gallery, you see the videos but they appear grey and have the play symbol in the center. The other videos in gallery you can see a picture from the video with the play symbol in the center while you are in gallery. I tried emailing the video, and posting the video to google+ but all that is sent is the picture of a play symbol with a line through it.
When I clicked on 'details' for the not working videos what came up is; 'file path' 'Date' 'size' 'type' and 'status' only for 'type' was there no information, it is just blank underneath.
So it does not seem to recognize the video as video/mp4.

In the meanwhile, I turned off auto update entirely but it's a huge inconvenience having to update all the apps manually. Nov 19, 2011Had my SII for 3 days now and am loving it but as of 2 hours ago my screen will no longer auto-rotate.
Earlier, via orange swapables, I was watching skysports with the screen held horizontally with no problems at all. Even after that I was sending a message using swype (what a cool feature by the way), holding it horizontally.
Since then I've not been able to rotate the screen. It is set to on via the notifications panel and under the settings menu.
I've put a new Case Mate Tough Case on as of this morning but was watching the football after I had put the case on. I have since tried removing the case to see if it works without, but with no luck.
I've checked the firmware and stuff and am running all the latest versions.
I've done the keypad *#0*# and checked the sensor test page, accelerometer, gyroscope sensor and magnetic sensor are showing different figures as I move the phone around but the image test does not rotate.
Under settings > display I've ran the calibration tests and they all ran fine.

1. the battery life,,I get just about 24 hrs with moderate usage,,
2. The phone gets reallly hot when the GPS or some of the games are on,,I mean reaallllyy hot.
3. I don't seem to be able to send videos via the MMS?? even a 6 second clips is rejected as (TOO long)??!!
4. If u write a text message that's too long ( more than 3 standard text messages) it converts to MMS!!
Despite the above,,,I am still very happy the I left the apple world for this,,cant believe I stayed with iphone for 2 years ??!!
Samsung Galaxy S II :: Auto/wireless Two-way Outlook Sync
Apr 14, 2012had my SGS2 delivered this morning which I plan to use instead of my business Blackberry.
For client data I run a CRM. This is then exported manually to CSV and uploaded into Outlook. (the CRM provider is working on an auto-sync for Outlook but that's another matter).
Anyway, at present I then sync Outlook contacts with my Blackberry manually via USB. However, now I'm switching to the S2 I'm hoping this can all be done automatically, two-way and obviously wirelessly...can it?
I'd then like to take it a step further and have my Outlook calendar and tasks sync on exactly the same basis i.e. auto, two-way & wirelessly...can this be done?
I've been told to look at Office365 but feel it's a tad OTT for my needs. However, I've got no issue paying for the right app/service if it can all be done.

Jun 18, 2012Firstly, The Voice talk section just keeps popping up, also a disclaimer from Samsung about Vlingo comes up quite a bit! Also even though I don't have auto rotate on, the screen keeps rotating around which is quite annoying! It freezes quite a bit as well. And the battery doesn't seem to charge as well. Also when I lock the screen and write in the pattern to open it, it has stoped working on occasion.Now the main difference I've noticced is that ther seem to be loadfs of apps afrer appearing on my phone which I never downloaded suchas:ChocoEUKorcom.samsung.app.playreadycom.samsung.InputEventAppcom.sec.android.app.Icdtestcom.sec.android.app.screencom.sec.android.app.smtsetEncryptAppAnd more and more!!!!! I have tried to delete or uninstall them but they won't let me! And I am worried because it says these can access all personal data such as services that cost me money as directly calling pone numbers, sending texts etc!
