Searching the internet and some say that it is a format issue and I should buy a converter, it is not a format issue since the same file will play on the network drive but not on the S5 network card.

View 6 Replies View RelatedSorry if this was asked before.I am trying to Convert some of my movies from avi to mp4 to play on the mobile and wish to ask you the following.What would be the optimal settings (of the following) for the 5530 with it's 360 x 640 pixels and 16:9 aspect ratio:
1) Video Size, should it be same as screen resolution or something like 320x240?
2) Frame rate, should it be 30 or is 15 good enough?
3) Should i set the aspect ratio to 16:9 or leave it intact?
4) Change the bitrate or leave it as it is?
I could leave them in avi but each of them ranges from 600 mb to 4 gb.I am looking for good to excellent video quality and average to small size.

I have a different sound for texting and other notifications. When I get a text I get the vibration but not with any other notification. Vibration intensity is set all the way.

I hear the audio but I see a frozen screen. Now I drag the movies to my desktop and they play perfectly with quicktime. I've hooked everything up properly. Movies play just fine from my iPad2 but when I try and play a movie that I loaded onto my iPhone the tv just says "no signal". Movie plays fine on the phone itself. I even plugged phone into power source thinking maybe the phone didn't have enough power to play a movie on tv. Still "no signal". I'm on vacation and hoped to watch a couple of movies.

Just curious, but have any of you run into this same problem or found a solution? I frequently have used (in the past) my iPhones to store videos or movies to take on the road with the family instead of bringing DVD's for the trip.  On every version of iPhone I have owned this was feasible. Not with the iPhone5 though. All i get is the audio now.

View 2 Replies View RelatedVideo files recorded on my sgs2 have the file extension mp4 but wont play on my sony bravia tv or via my sumvision cyclone mkv2 media player. They do however play on my windows 7 laptop.wehen playing a video on the sgs2 you can get more info by tapping menu/details. This tells me the format is 3gpp. I believe 3gpp forms a simple wrapper around the mp4 file and suspect this is the element my other devices can't handle.If I copy the files to my laptop and convert them to mp4 using [RZ Video Converter] program then copy them back to my sgs2... They now play fine on all my devices including the sgs2.
