I've tried converting them to mpeg, but that didn't work. My Canon SX40HS outpuuts AVCHD lite video, but none of the Android movie players I've tried so far will play them. have a recommendation for native AVCHD Lite video players?

I have a MAC at home and would like to transfer some movies which I have onto my Xoom. I have Android file transfer on the MAC and astro on the Xoom. I have mastered transferring files onto the Xoom BUT have a problem now as Android file transfer onlu allows me to transfer if it is less than 4GB.
How do I transfer my movies over which are more than 4GB?

I am trying to transfer digital copies of movies to my xoom. The first is a universal studios which I put on my computer but cannot transfer to my xoom.The second is a lions gate film digital copy which makes you go through itunes. I did that but cannot get it to my xoom.I traded in my Ipad 2 for a xoom for more possibilities. I guess i should have stuck with the obvious simple Ipad because I am not smart enough to use the xoom.

So fine, I'll re-copy them from my PC to the SD card.But what about when my Google Music syncs, is it going to copy the Music to SD card with the other copied music? or still in internal memory? View 7 Replies View RelatedI have it set up on my PC where I have 3 folders shared. I have a Movies folder, I have a TV Shows folder, and I have a Mixsets folder. I like to listen to DJ mixsets that can be rather large, anywhere from 50MB to 150MB in size. I can access my movies/tv shows off my PC at home just fine when I'm on a wireless network. I just go into Gallery>MotoCast and there i have my TV shows in one folder and Movies in another folder. The folder I named Dj Mixsets does not show up in either Gallery or Music app.That's fine cause when I go to the Files app, I can see all three folders on my PC. From there, I can still access my TV Shows and Movies just fine. But when I try to listen to any of the mixsets, it says Cannot connect to network, please try again. This is weird cause the Droid shows my home PC as "Online". Is it because the music files are really large that it won't play? MotoCast can play larger size video files no problem.

I hear the audio but I see a frozen screen. Now I drag the movies to my desktop and they play perfectly with quicktime. I've hooked everything up properly. Movies play just fine from my iPad2 but when I try and play a movie that I loaded onto my iPhone the tv just says "no signal". Movie plays fine on the phone itself. I even plugged phone into power source thinking maybe the phone didn't have enough power to play a movie on tv. Still "no signal". I'm on vacation and hoped to watch a couple of movies.

Just curious, but have any of you run into this same problem or found a solution? I frequently have used (in the past) my iPhones to store videos or movies to take on the road with the family instead of bringing DVD's for the trip.  On every version of iPhone I have owned this was feasible. Not with the iPhone5 though. All i get is the audio now.

I have a problem with the sd card on my Xoom wifi with Android 4.0.4. I have my music collection on an sd card which is loaded in my Xoom. Initially the music plays fine in the Google Play Music App, but after using the tablet for a day or two the music will no longer play. I get a message that the music cannot be played. This message then appears when attempting to play any music on the sd card.
I can temporarily fix the problem by erasing the Media Storage and Google Play Music data or resetting the tablet as suggested by gmanapps, but the problem repeats itself. I also tried syncing/not syncing with Google Music, disabling the Google Play Music app and using an alternate player, and formatting the sd card.
In general I have been happy with my Xoom, but this issue really concerns me. Does this point to a larger problem of stability in the Android file structure?
i tryed playin a video i filmed before 3.1 update and now it wont play....i also tryed taking a picture and i cant see the preview on the screen....but when i press the shooter it takes the picture...but the screen is black completly.
