Then, I've tried to download the movies and I get error 49.
I have a MAC at home and would like to transfer some movies which I have onto my Xoom. I have Android file transfer on the MAC and astro on the Xoom. I have mastered transferring files onto the Xoom BUT have a problem now as Android file transfer onlu allows me to transfer if it is less than 4GB.
How do I transfer my movies over which are more than 4GB?

Does anyone know how to turn the volume up to 11 or 12?Seriously, the movie playback volume seems lower than the music player. The first is a universal studios which I put on my computer but cannot transfer to my xoom.The second is a lions gate film digital copy which makes you go through itunes. I did that but cannot get it to my xoom.I traded in my Ipad 2 for a xoom for more possibilities. So fine, I'll re-copy them from my PC to the SD card.But what about when my Google Music syncs, is it going to copy the Music to SD card with the other copied music? or still in internal memory? What about camera pictures and movies? Can you set it to save on the SD card? It take it apps cannot be 'moved to media area' either?onder when Google is going to fix these restrictions to their file system. 10 months later after release of Honeycomb seems a bit long to fix a basic file system function.

I had not added any files to my Xoom yet but while I started playing some of the music files that came with the Xoom, the player force closed while I was browsing the music files. It does not close while playing music but only while browsing the music that came with the Xoom. I then added music to the music folder from my PC and it still force closes while browsing my music files. This happends all the time after I play a few music files. I have the music player 3.0 version. A reboot does not help, it does it every time I use the player. Has anyone had this problem? Any suggestions are welcome. If I install another music player app. will it recognize my music already in my Xoom? And any recommendations on another player? I'm tired of the force closing of the Music player that came with the Xoom.

I even tried to move the movie to the / but that didn't help.When I use a file explorer there is no problem finding the movies and playing them, but the phones movie player can't find them. how I can get the movie player to list my movies so I can play them without using a file explorer to find the movies first?

View 2 Replies View Relatedso I have a GB 2.3.4 Atrix 4G, and usually, it plays my music and takes pictures fine. But every so often (it seems everyday), I wind up rebooting after, when trying to player music, it says "sorry, this type of file is not supported," even tho I've been playing them all the time. Also, when this happens, the camera and camcorder also happen to stop working, saying "com.camera.android (or blur)" unexpectedly closed. All my songs are MP3 or MPEG4, and usually all play.
Why is this happening on an update? What can be done to prevent it? Are there apps I need to keep off the "auto-end list?" Does rooting a phone bring this on (via pre-install method)? Or is this a common glitch? I have also complained about the way the music player doesn't have an "all songs" option for the player. Personally, I think a blur 5.0 needs to come out already.

I would love to read books on this app. Where can I find epub files to rent that I could use on this? I have tried my local library online but there aren't many choices. Is there a site that I could pay a one time fee and download epub files? I even downloaded Calibre but again, unable to find the books in the format that is needed.
Next question, where can I get movies to watch on my Droid? I tried downloading Handbrake and tried to transfer my DVD to my phone but getting an error message.
