I have a MAC at home and would like to transfer some movies which I have onto my Xoom. I have Android file transfer on the MAC and astro on the Xoom. I have mastered transferring files onto the Xoom BUT have a problem now as Android file transfer onlu allows me to transfer if it is less than 4GB.
How do I transfer my movies over which are more than 4GB?
I am trying to transfer digital copies of movies to my xoom. The first is a universal studios which I put on my computer but cannot transfer to my xoom.The second is a lions gate film digital copy which makes you go through itunes. I did that but cannot get it to my xoom.I traded in my Ipad 2 for a xoom for more possibilities. I guess i should have stuck with the obvious simple Ipad because I am not smart enough to use the xoom.

So fine, I'll re-copy them from my PC to the SD card.But what about when my Google Music syncs, is it going to copy the Music to SD card with the other copied music? or still in internal memory? What about camera pictures and movies? Can you set it to save on the SD card? I just installed a new app I found in the latest issue of PC Magazine. It is called Software Data Cable. It provides ftp file transfer between an Android device and your PC. It works best with Filezilla Client to transfer files over your wifi network. Works excellent with my Xooom with ICS. Fast and no USB cable needed. Only negative is that it seems to only see the internal SD storage.

The copy progress bar comes up but stops before completion. I have no problem copying files from my old XP machine so it appears to be something in Win 7 or my particular set up causing the problem.

I used a usb cord to copy my Word ducuments to tablet, but the sd card in tablet does not show anything. I did a factory reset and called tech support but nothing works. And there is no way to formet the sd card ( from computer or sd card)

If i set the camera to jpeg it will launch the gallery and allow me to import these so i know the cables work, the images can be imported and stored on the xoom. Have also read variuos things that say direct raw import are not possible but am not sure if this is now out of date. I also know rawdroid works ok once i can get the files on the xoom so have my raw viewer sorted. Now, if i try and use file manager and check at the /mnt directory i can't see a way to find the sd card in the camera to try and copy them over. This was one of the key things i wanted to get working on this when i bought it.

My phone was connected by usb I run Sony PC Companion, windows explorer started and it was writen that SD Card 708MB Free and 3.65GB full, but I double clicked SD card and there was only two files; "customized-capability" and "default-capability". I have checked win explorer Folder Options, hide, unhide selection, do not affect. I would love to read books on this app. Where can I find epub files to rent that I could use on this? I have tried my local library online but there aren't many choices. Is there a site that I could pay a one time fee and download epub files? I even downloaded Calibre but again, unable to find the books in the format that is needed.
Next question, where can I get movies to watch on my Droid? I tried downloading Handbrake and tried to transfer my DVD to my phone but getting an error message.
