I'm getting ready to go on an airplane trip and planning on taking a couple of movies to watch on my iPhone 3Gs. I just wanted to ask a couple of questions:
1. Is the HD movies worth renting or is it just better to rent/buy the non-HD?
2. Will the iPhone last the entire movie without being connected to a charger?
i was just curious as to what people think about actually sitting down and watcing a full movie on the iphone. as a filmmaker, it seems completely absurd... i'm not talking about he occasional Internet video... i mean like trying to put the dark knight on there and having a viewing.it just seems retarded.i guess legendary director david lynch said it best:http://www.Internet.com/watch?v=wkiiroicvz0
but seriously, without a bunch of easily offended people bickering, what are the opinions? i really don't want this to become an argument, just discuss it.
every time i sync my iphone i uncheck the movies and it still says they are on my phone and taking up memory even though they are not checked. If i uncheck sync all movies so no movies sync my status bar still shows 2 movies on the phone. not sure what to do or how to get them off without deleting the movies permanently.

I am connected to my iTunes and everything is syncing fine except I want to sync a couple of movies from my library but I get the "The iPhone XX is synced with another iTunes library. Do you want to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library?" error. Why am I getting this error only for trying to sync movies but everything else is syncing? I am using the same appleID that I used to purchase the movies.

I hear the audio but I see a frozen screen. Now I drag the movies to my desktop and they play perfectly with quicktime. (When I transfer movies from my flip camera, they play in iphoto with no issues.) What to do to be able to watch iphone 4 movies in iphoto?

I am a OSX 10.7.3 and iOS 5.1 user and am unclear about sync'ing movies and videos from my mac to my iPhone. I've done lots of this in the other direction but I'm trying this direction for the first time.
On the iTunes Summary tab I have selected Manually Manage Music and Videos. Now I want to select Sync Movies on the Movies tab but I get this message: "All existing songs, movies, and TV shows will be removed from your iPhone and replaced with movies from your iTunes library." I'm very confused by this message.
Why would iPhone songs be removed when I'm trying to sync movies? Any other words of advice would also be apprectiated.

I've hooked everything up properly. Movies play just fine from my iPad2 but when I try and play a movie that I loaded onto my iPhone the tv just says "no signal". Movie plays fine on the phone itself. I even plugged phone into power source thinking maybe the phone didn't have enough power to play a movie on tv. Still "no signal". I'm on vacation and hoped to watch a couple of movies.

Went out to the zoo today with my daughter and shot some great video on my iPhone 4, when I got home and synced my phone, iPhoto imported all the pictures and videos (which is fine), however I chose to delete everything off the camera roll. I decided to import all the videos to iTunes and sync them to both my iPhone and iPad, but now I realize that I can't edit, select or send these clips to my friends and relatives since they are not in the camera roll.
So I guess my questions are:
1. Is there a way to edit movies shot on the iPhone not in the camera roll (as per title)?
2. If not, is there a way to put the movies back on the roll (without jailbreaking)?
BTW, I did a search on this and found nothing helpful.
Is there an adapter or such that allows you to play movies that are loaded on your iPhone directly to your television?

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy 4s has all of a sudden stopped playing sound. I have a ringtone but no sound for music/movies etc. Tried turning on and of and letting bat go flat then recharging. Sound came back for a while then went again. I noticed this started soon after I upgraded to 5.1.1 . Ive also looked at the error reports the phone generates for apple and there are a few memory low notes.
