I want to put some movies from my parents' iTunes to my iPhone 4s before my flight back home today without syncing my phone to their Mac (I don't want to lose my songs, etc. for the flight today). Is there a way to get their movies onto my iPhone without syncing?

Do you want to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library?" error. Why am I getting this error only for trying to sync movies but everything else is syncing? I am using the same appleID that I used to purchase the movies.

I have a iphone 4 (not S) and have purchased movies on it. Just some Pixar shorts. I want to move these purchases to my computer so they are backed up, in other words, sync the other way. I have my phone/itunes set to manually manage music and movies because my music library on my computer would be too big for the phone and I don't want all my music on my phone anyway. Problem is, I can't just drag the movies from my phone to my itunes when the phone is plugged in, and when I choose "sync movies" I get a warning box that says:Are you sure you want to sync movies? All existing songs, movies and TV shows on the iPhone "dorothy's iPhone" will be removed and replaced with movies from your iTunes library.
I want to avoid this so I don't have to take the time to reload particular songs/albums that I've already put on the phone. Isn't there a way to transfer purchases you've made on your phone onto your computer without losing everything that's already on your phone? Is there a way to sync only movies? One would think so if you just checked the box, but the words "all existing songs, movies, and TV shows" make me too nervous to check the box.
My friend just bought a new iPhone. He had been syncing it for awhile to his old PC, which is now just dead in the water. He got a new iPhone and wants to move his data (contacts etc) to the new iPhone, without iTunes. He doesn't have an iCloud account yet, so I think he can just make an iCloud account on his old iPhone, turn on syncing, then go to the new iPhone and do the same. If not, then I have a Mac with iTunes. I can make a new user account for him, and then plug in the iPhone and I think backup the iPhone to iTunes.

when reformating or migrating to a new computer i know you can copy the itunes backup from the mobilesync directory and basically continue using itunes on the new computer without having to erase and sync the iphone again. However is this method the same for migrating from a pc to a mac or vice versa? Are the backup directories similar just as the itunes library directories are similar?

My old PC died and I'm trying synch my Iphone to a PC that I haven't backed up to in many months and the contents of the the two don't match. My Iphone has everything I want on it. The PC wants to replace everything with its old backup when I turn on synch apps and music? i am stuck in a tricky situation and would things first i know this is quite a frequently asked question as i have done a bit of searching on the net about it however could not not find anything that totaly matches myproblem, i have recently purchased a brand new laptop which runs windows 7 compared to my old desktop which ran XP, i have tried syncing all of my iphone 4s contents onto my new laptop's itunes library including everything not just music or videos and i got the infamous pop up "The iphone is synced with another Itunes library. Do you want to erase this iphone and sync with this Itunes library" the problem is that my original itunes library does not exist no more as my desktop was completly wiped and had XP redownloaded onto it again because it had a virus, which also wiped all of my hard drive so i cant even get everything i backed up off of my phone from it, i have managed to sign in to the itunes store and allowed my laptop to work with itunes,i have also transferred my purchases from my phone to my new itunes library but this only includes my apps and obviously not my contacts and photos and everything, i still get the pop up if i go to sync my apps from my library anyway, is there any way i can delete my original itunes library without it even existing anymore so that i can just start afresh and sync everything i have on my phone now directly to my new itunes library? or do i need to purchase this iphone rip/backup/store software that everyone goes on about or something? to be honest its really annoying my now as i just want to be able to sync everything like how i used to,

I lost many of my apps (330 apps and 32 folders), Why its so complicated for Apple to open more than 11 Pages on iOS 5.1?
When restoring iPhone to factory defaults, the same thing will occur...
So when you open Settings General Usage (after a while you see installed APPs) you notice that these apps either deleted (because of syncing), or got hidden(icons disappeared)
Is it so difficult for Apple to that? Or is it Apple's Policy not to do so?
What will go wrong if I open more than 11 pages for my APPs ? In my Samsung Galaxy I did opened more than 30 Pages ! Why using the bluetooth is complicated? Why it is not compatible with Non-Apple bluetooth products ??

I have a jailbroken iPhone 3gs with Installous and also the appsync plugin. I have no problem installing and running apps using intallous but when I go to sync my phone to my computer via iTunes it always removes the apps I had installed. A friend of mine doesn't have this problem but he is also using an older version of the iPhone. Is this a normal problem or do I need to install another plugin?
