IPhone :: Syncing To Itunes From A New Computer Without Having Original Itunes Library?
Apr 23, 2012i am stuck in a tricky situation and would things first i know this is quite a frequently asked question as i have done a bit of searching on the net about it however could not not find anything that totaly matches myproblem, i have recently purchased a brand new laptop which runs windows 7 compared to my old desktop which ran XP, i have tried syncing all of my iphone 4s contents onto my new laptop's itunes library including everything not just music or videos and i got the infamous pop up "The iphone is synced with another Itunes library. Do you want to erase this iphone and sync with this Itunes library" the problem is that my original itunes library does not exist no more as my desktop was completly wiped and had XP redownloaded onto it again because it had a virus, which also wiped all of my hard drive so i cant even get everything i backed up off of my phone from it, i have managed to sign in to the itunes store and allowed my laptop to work with itunes,i have also transferred my purchases from my phone to my new itunes library but this only includes my apps and obviously not my contacts and photos and everything, i still get the pop up if i go to sync my apps from my library anyway, is there any way i can delete my original itunes library without it even existing anymore so that i can just start afresh and sync everything i have on my phone now directly to my new itunes library? or do i need to purchase this iphone rip/backup/store software that everyone goes on about or something? to be honest its really annoying my now as i just want to be able to sync everything like how i used to,

Mar 23, 2012I have the new 5.1 on a 3gs. My iTunes is 10.6. When I synced them 10 out of 109 albums do not show up in Artist. They do show up in album with no artist title. The info and artwork are correct in iTunes. How can I make it sync right on my phone?

Apr 25, 2012I lost many of my apps (330 apps and 32 folders), Why its so complicated for Apple to open more than 11 Pages on iOS 5.1?
When restoring iPhone to factory defaults, the same thing will occur...
So when you open Settings General Usage (after a while you see installed APPs) you notice that these apps either deleted (because of syncing), or got hidden(icons disappeared)
Is it so difficult for Apple to that? Or is it Apple's Policy not to do so?
What will go wrong if I open more than 11 pages for my APPs ? In my Samsung Galaxy I did opened more than 30 Pages ! Why using the bluetooth is complicated? Why it is not compatible with Non-Apple bluetooth products ??

Feb 11, 2010I have a jailbroken iPhone 3gs with Installous and also the appsync plugin. I have no problem installing and running apps using intallous but when I go to sync my phone to my computer via iTunes it always removes the apps I had installed. A friend of mine doesn't have this problem but he is also using an older version of the iPhone. Is this a normal problem or do I need to install another plugin?

Aug 3, 2010I've got a iPhone 3GS running 4.0.1 and mac OS 10.6.4, iTunes 9.2.iTunes just won't let me sync my photos. I've tried to reinstall the 4.0.1 firmware, reinstalled iTunes but it doesn't work.I had this problem before when I tried to add a picture to the iPhone - but it didn't let me. So someone said - remove the iPod Cache Folder, so I did and now I can't sync any pictures.What happens is that when I press "Synchronize" - it synchronizes - but no pictures added.The Camera Roll is fine - it's just when I try to add something from a folder.I've tried different folders, removed everything to do with iPod Cache Folder. The picture I'm trying to add is a .jpg.I installed iPhoto to see if that makes any difference - but no .. it's still the same.On my PC it works just fine, no problem what so ever.Synchronizing music on my mac to the iPhone works fine too.
What's going on?

May 12, 2010My iPhone is jb on 3.1.2 and I have the latest version of iTunes (9.1.1.12) and for some reason it will take forever to backup or it won't transfer any of my apps from my iPhone. The hard drive on my laptop was damaged so I had to have it replaced along with the re-installation of vista so my songs, pics, etc were transfered except for any program which could not be done. Ibtried to use iTunes 9.0.1 but it said some new file was installed by a newer version of iTunes so it would not open, i tried rebooting my phone, iTunes, and even the laptop but it does not help, I have tried googling it and searching here on the forums and found no answer. So what can I do to fix it, I need a working backup and I need my apps or else I have download about 105 apps which will be annoying and long. I think I heard something about the newest iTunes which I have does not allow jb iPhones to sync.

Mar 31, 2012I have purchased and downloaded (through iTunes) six songs from a particular artist, and added these songs to two different playlists on my iTunes. However, five of them will not sync to my iPhone. They are checked, and I am able to play them through iTunes on my computer without a problem (Windows 7). However, on my iPhone, only the one song shows up.
I have deleted the songs and re-downloaded them, but they still won't sync. I also tried unsyncing all music, and then re-syncing, but they still don't appear. My iTunes and iPhone iOS are both completely up to date. These songs worked fine on my iPhone 3GS, but ever since I got my 4S, they've never shown up.

May 18, 2012I can look at my photos on my Iphone like a hard drive and copy and paste the photos to my computer. I can then delete a batch at a time on the Iphone camera roll. However, how do I delete the 242 photos in my "photo library" album and the 242 duplicate photos in my "Iphone photo" album? When I click on the arrow box icon in the upper right corner of my phone, I can click on a photo, but the delete icon is not available. May 25, 2012Recently I had my iphone replaced with a new on as the old one had a software fault. Now I have received the replacement and have restored it from my icloud it first downloaded everything but the next time I used it I had lost all my pictures so I restored it and tried again but still cant retrieve them and now it wont sync all my music to it.
