i have a samsung galaxy s5 everytime i get a call or try and make a call my phone hangs up, before I can pick up the phone and I push the green slider it hangs up when I go to make a call when I push dial it hangs up and it will keep doing it. and sometimes it acts good and will go through. what do I do?

Then today I was on a call over Bluetooth in my car and it cut out (other person could hear me, I couldn't hear then them) but was not in a dead zone. I've done a sift reset and completely wiped the phone as well. No change.

When a incoming call comes in and you answer the phone, 9 out of 10 times it hangs up as soon as you answer the phone.

The message goes away and my phone goes back to home screen. I can't make any calls. I can receive a call and text. When I text the contact list comes up, but not when I try to make a call. The phones hang up and restarts when I make a call or when I want to answer.
After completing a phone call or when the phone times out, it freezes and nothing will unlock it other than pulling the battery out. If I hard press the power button, the Phone Options screen will pop-up but none of the selection will work thru the touch-screen. While the [Phone Options] screen is open I can open the slide keyboard and use the mice-like button to scroll down and take the [Power off] option. Phone will work again after pulling the battery or powering it off thru the keyboard (at least this will save me the time of removing the battery).It seems that both actions (call and time out) send some kind to signal to the screen to lock it. When pressing the power button I will see the slide bar to unlock it but the screen is frozen and nothing will make it work. Luckily for Motorola the phone's warranty just expired (7/28/11).I have done both, Factory data reset and Wipe data/factory reset (Power key + "x") but nothing helped. I have looked out there in we but nothing similar.Does anyone have experienced this? - As you can imagine this is extremely painful and annoying. I ended up increasing the timeout to the max (30 minutes), but obviously jeopardized the battery life. I have to charge the phone almost every 2 hours.

The problem is when ever i make a call or recieve a call the battery goes down to single point n the mobile shows the battery low msg n shuts off. Its real pain in **bleep**. It works fine when not making or recieving calls. To my surprise i have observed tht the battery runs out immediately when using idea sim, drains lil slow with airtel, vodafone and satys for 24 hrs with docomo sim inside. My friend and I talked Monday and Friday, but Friday she said she had to go for a brief 3 seconds, and then call me back. When she attempted to call me back after about a minute I was able to answer, but as soon as I answered it hung up. I tried calling back several times but on my end I just get a ring, and then 3 beeps -- then it hangs up instantly.
On her end, however, it doesn't start ringing until about 20 seconds in and then it claims to not be able to reach the signal. This is baffling because this started doing this Friday right after she had to get over for a little. I called her earlier in the week (Tuesday) and it was fine, it rang correctly but suddenly we're having this signal issue. I have a Galaxy S5 but hers I have no clue, I know it's an old model -- but it is a smartphone.
Any way to make the in call volume louder permanently? Mine is very low even with the volume all the way up and there doesn't seem to be a difference when i hit the extra volume command.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been unable to get my AT&T S5 to iniate a handsfree call from a bluetooth device if the S5 screen is locked. This is really unsafe in the car if I must pick up the phone, enter PIN or password before I can make a call. Kind of goes against the meaning of "hands free". I expected to find a screen lock bypass for "trusted" devices or something similar, but so far I have not. My bluetooth receives calls fine when locked, I just can't initiate a call.

The phone is there but all I can do is make an emergency call without first entering the lock code. Is this how it should be? View 1 Replies View RelatedI can only periodically make calls normally by placing call and then putting phone up to my head and listening to phone ring, and person answer.For whatever reason then the phone will behave erattically. It will only let me make a call using speakerphone.I cannot put phone up to my head and listen through earpiece, and the phone doesn't black out when putting up to my head.I guess the proximity sensor doesn't work or is buggy.Also, sometimes when I double tap on the Home button/key to start voice dialing I should be able to hear the phone ask me what I want to do, but I can't hear anything but I can see on the screen that It is asking me a question - but can't hear anything as I normally should.Then, a few hours later it all works beautifully.I have rebooted the phone, taken out the battery and put it back in, hard reset the phone.I even have just now taken my screen protector off and the phone worked for a few calls as it normally should - i put phone up to my ear and screen blacked out and I could hear other person on earpiece.Then about an hour later none of that worked.I could only use the speaker phone.the phone didn't black out when making a call and putting phone up to my ear, and the double tap home button/key invoked the voice dial interface but i couldn't hear the voice/phone prompt like normal. and confirmation of my commands
The level 2 tech support at moto didn't help with any more troubleshooting than what I have already done.Which is: restart phone...reset phone to factory settings (hard reset) wipe all data off phone...taken off screen protector...none of this worked and produced consistent results to say that any of these procedures produced a positive change in the phone.I am within my 30 day trial period of this phone purchased from Motorola.
On my blackberry cellphone I was able to receive an make calls to my children overseas on the messenger via facebook but now that I have the nokia 1320 luminia I just cannot find any information on how to set this up
