i`ve recently bought a blackberry torch 9810 hangs very often when i make or recieve a call... Sometimes when i recieve a call the ringtone goes silent on its own ...It cal only be reset by taking out the battery.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy 4 months old BB Torch 9810 with OS7 hangs after a phone call. A small black box appears in the center of the screen with a hand going around like a clock. It takes 2-3 minutes before the black box disappears, and the smartphone is useable again. This also happens when I want to use the Torch has gone to "sleep" mode. I hardly have some apps which are links to news websites - nothing heavy. whether this is a OS issue/glitch?

Then today I was on a call over Bluetooth in my car and it cut out (other person could hear me, I couldn't hear then them) but was not in a dead zone. I've done a sift reset and completely wiped the phone as well. No change.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have had my Blackberry 9700 since July 2010 with no problem until this past week it has stopped making and receiving phone calls and I can't send or receive SMS. When I try to make a call, it instantly comes up with "Call Failed". I have talked to my carrier (o2) and they too cannot come up with a fix, there is no issue from there part as the sim card works fine on another phone. Strange thing is I can still use the internet on 3G, send and receive emails and my BBM works.
In Manage Connections >> Services Status, it says:
Status: not available
Connection: not connected
Blackberry internet service:
Connection: Mobile network
When I make a call or receive a call, I cannot hear caller unless I put the phone on speaker. Why?

is it possible on my torch 9810 to recieve a sent report with the sent time on? i only get the time i recieved the message but id like to know the sent time as i live in a poor signal area and i dont know how long its been since the sender sent the message.

When I first got the phone, I had only topped it up 10GBP which meant I didn't have the BlackBerry internet (data) service/pack. My phone could still send & recieve incoming calls and texts but now that I have topped up again 15GBP (the amount at which I can get the Data pack), The top bar has just been saying : 'Searching for Network. even though it was working before. Now I cannot recieve or send a call or even text. The 3G doesn't work but the WiFi does. The Line with the upside-down triangle on it has an 'x' next to it.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have the following Problem on my 9810 with OS 7.1 (but it happend with 7.0 as well).As soon as I perform a call, the handset has a calm flickering noise in the background. Every click of this noise is about half (or less) second long.The noise dissapears, if I switch to the loudspeaker, use BT headset or the cable headset.I first thought, that is is a problem with the headphonejack, as the phone for some reason could think, I am still in headphone mode. Therefore I tried to stick the headphonejack in the plug an d twist an turn an bit, in order to get the problem solved. But it did not.
Further I could find out, that the flickereing noise seems to be parallel with the flickering of the proximity sensor, but I am not sure about this. But I think, that maybe the on and of of the proximity sensor produces the noise.Does anyboday have an idea how I can get rif of this, since it is very, very anyoing.
I cannot make or receive call from my E72. Even cannot send or receive sms. When i dail any number a lock sign appears in front of number and nothing happens. When i restart my phone then its start working fine. I am extremely annoyed the basic functionality of cell phone is to make or recive call if we cannot perform this task what is the use of buying such expensive E-series phone. I need resolution. When I check for airtime SUPPLEMENTARY SERVICE ERROR - GENERAL ERROR. I have put my sim card into another. Phone and was able to make n receive calls and smses. But when I put my sim into my blackberry I am not allowed to. My blackberry is vodafone I am currently using a cellc sim card in it. The phone has worked fine from the time I bought it in december 2011 till september 2012.

Any one know how to set the format of these numbers to add a separator - dashes, periods, or spaces - to make the numbers easier to read and faster to identify? -batt pull
-batt pull + remove sim card
-update FW .423>.442
-wiped and relode FW (.442)
-resend service book
-re-register host routing table
Then I look at manage connections>Services status and it says, Mobile Voice status: not available connection: not connected. put my sim card into another phone (nokia) it could make, reseive call and sms so it shouldn't be sim card problem. Other services are working fine, BBM, email and facebook.
