My iphone 4s is working fine apart from when I make or receive a call the other person cannot hear me but I can hear them. I have tried ringing a number of different numbers. Have a pressed something that has caused this.

I have had my iPhone 4s for less than a week and when I call people/they call me/I listen to voicemails, I can barely hear the other person - they sound very distant or muffled, no matter how much I turn up the volume.
If I have the phone on speaker or listen with headphones, I can hear them perfectly fine.

I have just recently bought a Nokia N97 ( Not Mini ) and I cannot hear anything on the phone when I either Make or Receive any calls. View 9 Replies View RelatedI have had my Blackberry 9700 since July 2010 with no problem until this past week it has stopped making and receiving phone calls and I can't send or receive SMS. When I try to make a call, it instantly comes up with "Call Failed". I have talked to my carrier (o2) and they too cannot come up with a fix, there is no issue from there part as the sim card works fine on another phone. Strange thing is I can still use the internet on 3G, send and receive emails and my BBM works.

OK, this is one of the very few issues I've had, and it is very intermittent. Since September, only has happened like 3-4 times.I make a phone call - or someone calls me - and I can't hear them; nor them me. The green "connection" icon is active in the top bar - as is my DIALER (when I initiate the call - "END CALL" is active). When I call them, I never hear anything - including the normal dial out 'connection/ringing' sounds. They in fact DO get the ringing on their end and answer, but to them it appears as if nobody is on the line.I've tried just a simple AIRPLANE mode toggle, but that doesn't fix it. A Power reset of my phone fixes it every time. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have dropped my n97 mini in water.After disassembling it (cause warranty is voided if liquid issue) and drying it the device runs ok except for the microphone,when I receive a call I can only hear,not speak.I took the phone at a nokia care point and they said that the microphone is embedded on the motherboard and can not replace it...How can I make n97 mini`s microphone work?

When I first got the phone, I had only topped it up 10GBP which meant I didn't have the BlackBerry internet (data) service/pack. My phone could still send & recieve incoming calls and texts but now that I have topped up again 15GBP (the amount at which I can get the Data pack), The top bar has just been saying : 'Searching for Network. even though it was working before.
