My husband is in France with his brand new iPhone 4s (Verizon) and cannot make a call or receive one. The wi-fi works so he can use email but no voice. Verizon says his sim is activated for global but so far ha been of no use.

i just purchased a replacement bb bold 9000 off ebay (it's an unlocked at&t handset that i bought after my bb bold got stolen... total bummer) and it was working fine all week up until last night when it stopped being able to handle incoming and outgoing calls and texts. The internet and email functions still work which is very peculiar. also some further info, when i put my sim card into another handset (in this case a nokia e65) all my normal call functions work and when i put another sim card in the bold the same thing happens (when i try to make a call it instantly pops up with a call failed warning). another thing is the bold shows full service coverage... currently the bold about shows... v4.6.0.304 (Platform 4.0.0.247) im on australia and for some reason i cant update the os to v5

I tried to delete my exchange-account, and then both gmail accounts works fine on wifi. Any thoughts? or rather; I think maybe it sends/recieves, but it takes a very long time.

I recently dropped my White Iphone 4s down a toilet on a night out!!! I quickly picked it up and took it home and dryed in off and placed it in a bowl of rice and a few days later everything was fine and working just like normal apart from some water under the screen. Also the Wi-Fi option on my iphone just isn't displayed and greyed out.
I have also recently updated the software on the phone to the new 5.1.1 which i have seen there has been problems with about the wi-fi dropping and not being displayed. I would just like some advice if anyone else has had this problem and if which i think it probably is, the hardware has become loose inside the phone and its not the software.

I have a Linxys router that works fine with my PC, Xbox, ipad, google chrome and Television. For some reason mine and my wife's iphone 4s iOS 7.1.1 will not connect all of the time. It either will tell me, "unable to connect" or it will connect to the wifi but internet will not work on the phones. This always happens in the evening. The phones will work sometimes during the day. I have logged into the router and there are no other devices connected to the wireless other than the ones that I have in my house. I also have a "guest network" that has always been turned off. All of my other devices always work while the iphones won't connect.Â

I have had my Blackberry 9700 since July 2010 with no problem until this past week it has stopped making and receiving phone calls and I can't send or receive SMS. When I try to make a call, it instantly comes up with "Call Failed". I have talked to my carrier (o2) and they too cannot come up with a fix, there is no issue from there part as the sim card works fine on another phone. Strange thing is I can still use the internet on 3G, send and receive emails and my BBM works.
In Manage Connections >> Services Status, it says:

I live in an area that has no ATT service or any other service yet I use an iphone 4 with ATT service. My husband uses a T-mobile Android and while neither of us receive any cell signal, when our WIFI is on, my husband can receive and make phone calls with his cell phone. I on the other hand have not been able to figure out how the iphone may be able function in a similar way.

I've long wanted to switch to the Iphone but I sometimes need to go to some locations where AT&T nor verizon nor sprint have cell signals and the only way to make a call is by tethering to the wifi connection. I have a BlackBerry Curve 9300 3G and my Service Provider is O2. When I first got the phone, I had only topped it up 10GBP which meant I didn't have the BlackBerry internet (data) service/pack. My phone could still send & recieve incoming calls and texts but now that I have topped up again 15GBP (the amount at which I can get the Data pack), The top bar has just been saying : 'Searching for Network. even though it was working before. Now I cannot recieve or send a call or even text. The 3G doesn't work but the WiFi does. The Line with the upside-down triangle on it has an 'x' next to it.

I had an authorized seller replace the broken screen on my iPhone 4S, but now the bottom dock of icons is unresponsive. Weird thing is that I can't access the icons on the dock, nor open the lantern / calculator / clock / camera on the icons when I pull up the quick menu, but aside from that, that part of the screen works ... I can use the keyboard completely, you name it, everything except the icons on the dock and the bottom ones on the pull up menu ! Â
The guy who fixed my screen said it must be a software glitch, but I've restarted and restored the phone (from backup and as a new one) and the problem is still there !Â
Any chance he messed up something while changing the screen ?Â
Also, iPhone isn't (and has never been) jailbroken or anything of the sorts

When i restart my phone then its start working fine. When I check for airtime SUPPLEMENTARY SERVICE ERROR - GENERAL ERROR. I have put my sim card into another. Phone and was able to make n receive calls and smses. But when I put my sim into my blackberry I am not allowed to. My blackberry is vodafone I am currently using a cellc sim card in it.
