Jun 30, 2014My iPhone 4 which is appx 4 years old with latest iOS has developed this problem last week. After a hello on connecting a call with anyone, it just goes blank. Neither am I able to hear any voice from the other side nor the person on the other side is able to hear me. I hVe to disconnect the call and use SMS or whatsapp. Is there anything I can do to correct it?

Apr 19, 2012When I place a call on my iPhone 4 I now can't hear the caller on my iPhone unless I shift to speaker mode. The phone works fine with both blue tooth and ear buds and plays music over the speaker just fine. But if someone calls me I have shift to speaker mode to be able to hear them. I've confirmed the volume is up, I've tried turning off the phone and turning it back on and I tried before and after syncing.

Jan 21, 2012BB is Bold 9900. When making a call I can't hear the caller. But when using headset or speaker I can hear it clearly. I tried deleting everything back to factory settings using Wipe Data but didn't help. Also trying to plugin and out the headset several times but doesn't help either.

If I have the phone on speaker or listen with headphones, I can hear them perfectly fine.

May 19, 2011OK, this is one of the very few issues I've had, and it is very intermittent. Since September, only has happened like 3-4 times.I make a phone call - or someone calls me - and I can't hear them; nor them me. The green "connection" icon is active in the top bar - as is my DIALER (when I initiate the call - "END CALL" is active). When I call them, I never hear anything - including the normal dial out 'connection/ringing' sounds. They in fact DO get the ringing on their end and answer, but to them it appears as if nobody is on the line.I've tried just a simple AIRPLANE mode toggle, but that doesn't fix it. A Power reset of my phone fixes it every time. Has anyone else experienced this?

May 22, 2012When making or receiving a call, the caller or the person I am calling cannot hear me. If I turn on speaker, they can hear me. This is a new iPhone 4, I traded in my 1 year old iPhone 4, because it also was having this issue, & the apple store staff could not fix it.
I have tried turning on/off, plugging in ear buds and unplugging them, cause I heard that could help, & syncing the phone. Nothing has worked yet that I have tried.

Oct 22, 2010I have had my Blackberry 9700 since July 2010 with no problem until this past week it has stopped making and receiving phone calls and I can't send or receive SMS. When I try to make a call, it instantly comes up with "Call Failed". I have talked to my carrier (o2) and they too cannot come up with a fix, there is no issue from there part as the sim card works fine on another phone. Strange thing is I can still use the internet on 3G, send and receive emails and my BBM works.
In Manage Connections >> Services Status, it says:
Status: not available
Connection: not connected

When I first got the phone, I had only topped it up 10GBP which meant I didn't have the BlackBerry internet (data) service/pack. My phone could still send & recieve incoming calls and texts but now that I have topped up again 15GBP (the amount at which I can get the Data pack), The top bar has just been saying : 'Searching for Network. even though it was working before.
