How do I fix power sharing apps as i cannot charge my samsung s6 properly after last update. I checked the application manager the apps already installed and there but when i try to look it in the menu there i cannot see the apps. Try to replace my charger and try another charger but the result was the same. How to uninstall. Also i already clear the data, cache and even force stop.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy phone just couldn't charge and before the battery died, my phone said that it was using too much power to charge. I bought my HTC One from Phones 4u last September and to my luck, when my phone has problems, the company stops functioning. I have tried using different cables/plugs to charge but to no avail.
I emailed HTC and they haven't replied after 3 days. I'm not entirely sure what are the procedures for sending my phone for repairs, but I will definitely call them soon if they don't reply.
My wife recently washed her phone and by accident got some water inside (water indicator in the back is red). Since then the phone didn't want to charge! It starts charges for a second then stops.
We have been swapping batteries since I also have a GS5 but it's been really annoying.
I thought the charging module had been damaged but just yesterday by accident she found out she could charge it if the phone is in "Ultra Power Savings Mode".
I used Ultra Power Saving Mode last night for about an hour. When I reverted back from that about half of my icons were missing including my stock Voicemail, YouTube, Yahoo Mail, all my games...etc.
Looked a little further into it this morning on Application Manager and the apps are still present on the phone and installed, but "Turned Off". If I tap on them, some have a button that says "Enable" (which appears to be all the pre-loaded apps that came with the phone) but most of them don't.
I've used Ultra Power Saving Mode as recent as two weeks ago with no problem.
Got the Marshmallow update this morning, phones been good for about 14 hours and now all of a sudden while updating apps the phone re-started and has been re-starting ever since. It goes through boot-up screens to the "hand stitched" screen and then shows me a small message indicating it is optimizing 1 of 27 apps like it is doing an upgrade, it will sit on that for a few seconds and then the screen just goes black. After a couple minutes the process starts over again all by itself. It has been sitting here on my desk doing this for about 45 minutes now. Looks like I was able to experience Marshmallow for about a day, going to have to head back to the Nexus 6 (with no Marshmallow yet) and get a hold of Moto.

I think it'd a great change to having used the LG G4 and past Galaxy phones.I have this issue though and I'm not sure if it's a big issue or if it's common. Sometimes when I press the power button the screen doesn't wake up until I press the power button a second time. Almost as if it didn't recognize the first press and did the second. It's only happened about 2-3 times in the last 2 days I've had it. I don't know if it's that I am not pushing the button hard enough or if this is a common issue? I thought I had seen something about this somewhere else but I can't find that post/article anymore. Should I get the device replaced? I am on T-mobile BTW.

I was charging my phone while using it and it suddenly shut off. Whenever I try to turn it on the welcome screen "samsung powered by android" comes up for 1 second and then goes black and nothing else happens. I've had the phone for about 8 months and never rooted or installed any software other than official updates. I was just playing a game while it was charging when it stopped working.
every combination of buttons i press even the factory reset gives the same result, the welcome screen for 1 second and then nothing. I was able to get to the OS change warning screen though but when i cancel it goes back to the welcome screen problem. Charging it shows the charging symbol going on and off every second.
Having a strange issue where the phone won't power off using the physical power button, the camera keeps coming up, and the phone gets really hot.
Did the soft reset by holding power + volume down for 7 seconds and had it restart, power off, and safe restart, all of which I was able to do successfully, but each time the phone has the same issue when it boots back up.
I don't want to hard reset and lose my layout.
How to turn off the power up sound on the S5? I prefer no noise when I start my phone (now if you could also get rid of the Verizon screen... but I know better)...

View 10 Replies View RelatedI've had my Blackberry Curve 9300 for about 7 months now & I've been experiencing this problem for the past 3 months. For some reason my Blackberry "chooses" the chargers that can charge it, i.e. If I use my wall charger, it randomly works, If I use my Boss' Car Charger, it works like any normal charger, I tried using my friend's wall charger, same problem as mine, then I tried another friend's Car Charger, this time it didn't work. I haven't installed any 3rd party apps apart from the usual package like facebook & bbm so I'm guessing the problem is elsewhere. The main problem is the "randomness" of my wall charger; sometimes it takes me a few minutes of pluging the charger to the usb port over & over again till the lightning sign shows that it's charging, but most of the time it takes me as much as 4hrs to get that sign to pop up, in which by that time my BB's already dead. The clock appearing at the time you plug the charger in has no effect as I press the return button every time after the clock appears, & the charging sign still isn't there. It's annoying because everytime the battery goes red are the time when I need it the most, like when I need to meet someone outside the office. I don't want to go through the inconvenience of purchasing a new phone of replacing this one as I have had lots of notes & messages that I want to keep but since there's a USB port problem, I can't even connect my BB to my laptop as it says it can't recognise the USB connection. I've tried with multiple cables as well & none can be recognised.

The phone powers on to the Nokia hands but as soon as the time/date screen appears, the keypad can't set it. Then the screen locks after a few seconds & can't be unlocked. It is in Ultra Power Saving mode. I have tried Android Device Manager...the message I entered shows on the screen, but the temporary password I set does not work. Almost feels like the screen I'm entering that password on is the wrong screen, and I'm limited by the power saving features.
Not sure what else to try; Samsung's Locate my Phone doesn't seem useful.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI tried to flash the newest Vodafone firmware (PDA G920FXXU3QOJQ, CSC G920FVFG3QOJQ, Modem G920FXXU3QOJQ) on my G920F using Odin.
The first ROM i tried was corrupted and didn't pass the md5-check, so i downloaded a new one from samdownloads.de and tried again.
Odin shows the usual messages until hidden.img is written, after that it says "Complete (write) operation failed" and, after reboot, leaves me with a warning screen reading
"An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software."
I can power it down and reset with power+vol down, but it only gets to the same turqoise screen again and thats it. If I press the combo immediately, i can get into d/l mode, also.
Just checked a second time, failed again, now i am stuck with a phone that doesn't power off anymore. Waiting for the battery to die is not an option, just charged it, around 95% full. I suppose i have to flash a new bootloader? My TWRP is also gone, bad news. Do I have to install modem, bootloader and pit file now?

Have had the S6 since April. Wireless charger worked fine. Then all of a sudden a few months later I needed to keep readjusting to find the sweet spot. Now, I put my S6 on the charger and... Nothing. Doesn't even register that they are touching. Thought it was the charger, but I just got a Moto 360 and as soon as I put it on the Samsung charger, it started charging in 2 seconds.
I have a S5 that won't charge it's battery. The phone says its charging, but the battery won't charge. Even when I have the phone plugged into a charger, the battery continues to drain as it would normally. I work at a phone repair store, so I was able to test it with multiple cords and charging blocks, along with different batteries. I was also able to replace the original charge port with another we had in stock. Same result, nothing.

The adaptive fast charger that came with my phone works well with my galaxy s6. Fast charging works well and I can get up to 50% charge in about 25 mins. But the problem is it doesn't charge any other phone apart from galaxy s6. If I plug my htc one or lg g3 or any other phone (even blackberry), it will indicate its charging but won't add any juice. I've tried charging other phones for up to 30 mins, rather than charging the battery % will either stay where it is or sometimes drain. It can't even charge simple things like a modem or even a ps4 controller. I once plugged a ps4 controller and the charging light indicated, but to my surprise after 1 hour of charging it still was not able to add one bar to the battery. In fact if I plug a phone with 2% battery , after 20 mins of charging the phone dies.
