I haven't had any trouble with my Samsung galaxy 6s until now. The phone started freezing but it would work after. the phone was left without charging all night and when I woke up it didn't want to charge or turn on !

I turned off notifications for any app that seemed to wake the phone, and I usually put the phone in "Do Not Disturb" mode at night. Now, the only thing that wakes it is when the battery becomes fully charged. How to stop the phone from doing this? I use the phone as my clock/alarm, so I don't want to turn the phone off. Since many people probably charge their phones next to their beds at night, this seems like a particularly dumb feature.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had Xperia Z2 for almost two months now, today when I was at work I noticed that it was off, although it had more than 40% of battery still remaining. I tried turning it back on but as it didn't work I figured something was wrong with it.
I tried hard reset and it did vibrate three times, but it still wouldn't turn on. I thought something drained the battary and waited till I got home to charge it. Now that I am at home it doesn't even charge, none of the LED lights work, it won't connect to pc companion either and hard reset now does nothing (as in, it doesn't vibrate 3 times anymore).

I tried volume up/down+power button combination, hard reset, held the reset button for longer than 15 sec, I removed sd card and sim, nothing works the phone is just lifeless. I haven't dropped it or used it intensely, it never overheat or anything of that sort.
I've had this phone for about 6 months now and when I charge it, it goes to the white screen with Motorola sign, goes black, vibrates, then back to white screen.I've tried the hard reset where you hold down the buttons, but it doesn't even do anything.

Thought I'd give it another go in the morning but no, just the red light on but no power. Now it still has the red power light show up but then after about 30 mins a battery sign shows that is different to the last battery sign that it had before so was wondering if the system has updated automatically???? Turns on but shows main screen for a millisecond and switches straight off saying 0% battery even though its been charging a good while.

Have had the S6 since April. Wireless charger worked fine. Then all of a sudden a few months later I needed to keep readjusting to find the sweet spot. Now, I put my S6 on the charger and... Nothing. Doesn't even register that they are touching. Thought it was the charger, but I just got a Moto 360 and as soon as I put it on the Samsung charger, it started charging in 2 seconds.
I have a S5 that won't charge it's battery. The phone says its charging, but the battery won't charge. Even when I have the phone plugged into a charger, the battery continues to drain as it would normally. I work at a phone repair store, so I was able to test it with multiple cords and charging blocks, along with different batteries. I was also able to replace the original charge port with another we had in stock. Same result, nothing.

The adaptive fast charger that came with my phone works well with my galaxy s6. Fast charging works well and I can get up to 50% charge in about 25 mins. But the problem is it doesn't charge any other phone apart from galaxy s6. If I plug my htc one or lg g3 or any other phone (even blackberry), it will indicate its charging but won't add any juice. I've tried charging other phones for up to 30 mins, rather than charging the battery % will either stay where it is or sometimes drain. It can't even charge simple things like a modem or even a ps4 controller. I once plugged a ps4 controller and the charging light indicated, but to my surprise after 1 hour of charging it still was not able to add one bar to the battery. In fact if I plug a phone with 2% battery , after 20 mins of charging the phone dies.

One day I experienced a sharp battery drain, and plugged it in my PC to charge. To my surprise it wouldn't charge! It shows that it's charging, but it wont go up in charge. The only way to charge it now is with its own fast charger. I fiddled with it a bit, (cleared cache, uninstalled apps, etc. ) and I can say the battery drain problem seems to be fixed for now. But I'm still unable to charge it up via the PC (or a laptop) USB port.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSince I have updated my Samsung S5 to Android v5.0 I am finding that my phone locks up while it is on wireless charge. I have the samsung back cover and also the samsung wireless dock for wireless charging.
It does not happen everytime I charge the phone via wireless charging. But since I've updated which was around two weeks ago. It has done it three times approx.
I just see a dulled Samsung screen and the phone is unresponsive to any buttons including holding down the power button to turn the phone off. I end up having to pull out the battery and replace it again in order to get the phone to work again.
For some strange reason my phone wont charge it off and when it is off it flashes on and off with the lightning and battery size to charge meaning it takes forever to charge. 5 hours of charge off and its only on 50% and then the battery dies within 2 hours when switched back on. Super annoying. Is it the phone or just need of a new battery.

I have to switch off the phone which sometimes reboots when I do this, then it starts charging. I use advance task killer to shut as many apps down as possible but the battery still drains fast. View 9 Replies View RelatedI bought my S6 about 3 weeks ago. I was using it normally, but then I left it and when I came back it wouldn't turn on unless I pressed the volume down key too. After that it kept turning off after 15-30 minutes I turned it on, everytime, and then it simply wouldn't turn on whatever i did, even if a pressed all 4 buttons for 10 seconds. Then I simply pressed the power button and it turned on. It behaved normally for that whole day.
I went to sleep with 45% battery and it died. Again it wouldn't turn on unmattering what i did, and after like 5 hours i pressed the volume down and power again and it turned on (after many tries), wtih 27% battery - and it was always off, but after like 2 minutes it died again, and only turned on, after many tries, when I presed vlm dwn, power and home together, giving me the restart screen with 7% charge. (not that dos/cmd-like, with hard reset and all, only a custom os and restart). it worked normally (draining battery fast), and then shut down again, even if i was charging it, though the whatsapp green led is flashing, so i think it's not completely off.
my phone other than recently the battery life has been pretty bad all of a sudden (I think it's my charger) , anyways I was outside taking a picture on my phone and as soon as it took the picture the screen went black and it was completely unresponsive, tried turning it on, reset, nothing worked. I took the battery out and back in and It turned on, BUT then my time and date was completely wrong and for some reason since the time and date was wrong it made my internet not work.
