I have the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. I have a ford Mondeo car which has a built in bluetooth. I can connect to the hands free but I have to manualy reconnect everytime I get into the car. I was wondering if there was anyway to get the X10 to connect automatically as all my previous phones used to.

EVERY morning, I have to go into my bluetooth settings and click the _only_ paired device to connect. When I do, it connects with no issues.
All I want the S5 to do is connect when it gets in range (in range since bluetooth is always on).
I doesn't do this by itself. Why? I do not have any issues pairing. It just doesn't auto connect.
I have a Blackberry 8520 with the latest software. My Bury CV 9040 also has the latest software. Everything works well except for auto connect to the CV 9040. I would like it to connect when I turn the ignition on which activates the CV 9040 but I have to push the auto connect button each time which is not the end of the world but an irritation!
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have added my laptop to HandsFree list in my phone. And as soon as I turn on bluetooth on phone, it autoconnects to HF gateway. I don't want this. Can I configure my phone or PC to not do so. I prefere to connect HF not sooner than I will connect manually from phone, I make a phone call, or I play an audio file on phone. As I noticed active HF service limits BT bandwith drastically.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I just bought the S5 a few weeks ago and am having trouble pairing it to my Acura RDX. The previous two droids I had seemed to have no problem with this.
-The S5 is paired with the car, when an incoming call comes in the phone rings and so does the speakers in my car. I simply just hit the answer button on the steering wheel and it answers the call.
-The problem: So now I want to make a call and this is where the problem occurs. On my previous Droids I would just pull up the contact and click the phone dial button. After doing this the phone audio would automatically bump over to my car speakers as soon as the line started to ring.
-On the S5 I would go to a contacts name or dial a number and it never kicks over to the car speakers, I have to manually click the bluetooth icon in the corner of the screen every time. Its weird that it works fine for incoming calls, but when placing a call I have to select the bluetooth icon.
Is there an Auto connect bluetooth headset option? I hate having to always choose to send a phone call to my hands-free device. What's the point of a Bluetooth headset if I have to use the phone every time to connect to it?

I have a Droid 3 and the bluetooth headset I have does not autoconnect (paired but not connected). I have to do it manually. My Droid 1 would autoconnect just fine. I don't see any option to auto connect. I saw some mention somewhere that there might be a code issue and someone sent something to google. I did not know if there was a fix for this. This was going on before and after the update.

1) Bought a bluetooth usb dongle for the PC.
2) Paired my phone with the PC.
Now on the phone it says "paired but not connected" and the PC reports that the "device driver was not successfully installed".
What kind of driver do I need to install on my PC to be able to connect the two?
My new phone is correctly paired with the blurtooth in my 2011 Subaru Forester and connected and worked, but does NOT auto-connect when I restart the car, I have to go into bluetooth settings on my phone, and tap the device "Car_Media" to make a connection. My previous phone worked correctly and auto-connected when I started the car.. I've fully deleted all devices and pairings from the car and the phone and re-paired the new phone several times. NG. It worked fine prior to the update, but now, it recognize the device, and pair, but doesn't properly connect. No matter what I try. auto connection to in car kit ,have read through the help pages, and set to authorize, but will not patch in ,have to do it manually everytime, what a nightmare!! View 11 Replies View RelatedI bought a Hyundai Elentra 2012 from last November and have been using my BB9900 with no issues with the car bluetooth.Once I start the car it would auto pair no issues at all.Right after the OS 7.1 update as I got in the car it said cannot pair. So I deleted both in phone and car and re paired. That connected but as soon as I shut the car off and try again it says on car menu pair failed. If I try and connect manually via the 9900 menu it says on screen cannot pair.The only way to pair it is remove both from each and re pair again.What did the OS 7.1 do to mess up th ebluetooth. By the way I have two phones and the iphone 4 pairs fine with the car so its not a car issue.Also why does BB not include the old rings tones. I have to always install it manually. I also notice the new OS use smuch more memory another 40+ mehs now I only have 140m free.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI use auto power on/off on my BB Tour 9630. When it powers on it does not enable bluetooth automatically. I then have to manually enable bluetooth with Manage Connections. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Then I launch options scroll to Bluetooth and then enable Bluetooth there. Again sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes I have to repeat, repeat this step or power off manually then power on. Thinking I should leave it powered on 24/7 and just leave bluetooth on 24/7.
