Jul 3, 2010My phone simply doesn't connect to my PC. It doesn't even charge. It's like it isn't connected. Already tried to connect to other computers, and it worked. Also tried to connect other devices to my PC, and they worked. Another thing that I noticed is that when I start my computer, the phone recognizes the connection and starts to charge, but as soon as Windows starts, the connection is lost, like if the USB cable was disconnected. Still, when I disconnect and reconnect the cable, the PC Companion acts like if a device was connected to the computer and tries to find the phone, but fails. I have Windows 7, if it matters.

1) Bought a bluetooth usb dongle for the PC.
2) Paired my phone with the PC.
Now on the phone it says "paired but not connected" and the PC reports that the "device driver was not successfully installed".
What kind of driver do I need to install on my PC to be able to connect the two?

Feb 10, 2011my problem is that it does connect with PC companion with USB, but not with bluetooth.It does get paired, the pc sees the phone, correct name, gives me the 4 digit code, and put them in the phone, but when I put in the phone, it seems ok, until PC Companion just says I cannot connect via BT, and tells me to try with USB cable.Why would I try with BT, for any other reason that not wanting to use the cable?Well, anyway, BT in the PC is ok (i used to connect with a Palm Treo 1 week ago), and BT in the phone is ok, it connect with car's handsfree.

Can send files from pc to phone, but trying to go the other way, phone to pc, I will get a brief flicker of a "connected" message on the laptop and then it goes back to paired the phone gets a message that transfer failed. Never get a notification on the PC that it is trying to receive a file. Same thing happens when I pair my tablet to the pc. When I pair the phone to the tablet transfers work fine both directions. What Dumb User thing am I doing wrong?
