I am trying to find out how you enable auto answer on a bluetooth headset for a Nokia N900...I can pair the headset without a problem and make a call using it, however, if someone calls me the phone rings and I can hear it in the headset but does not 'connect the call' automatically.

I connect my E63 to a via bluetooth to hands-free when driving. Works a treat but I have to manually answer by pressing the green button.How can I set it to automatically answer after a ring?
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone connects to my car with a USB/jack connector cable - the type that came with the car. Is there a way to have the iPhone (4S) automatically enable Bluetooth ONLY when I'm in the car and I hook up the phone, and to have it automatically disable Bluetooth when I disconnect and leave the car? The idea is that I will ONLY ever need/want Bluetooth active when in the car.
Similarly, is it possible to have the iPhone disable wifi when I'm away from my home wifi environment and enable it again when back home? I'm specifically looking for a solution that is automatic and that requires NO human intervention each time.
When my phone is connected to my car's bluetooth (Belkin Aircast) it auto picks up after the first ring. This is very annoying for 2 reasons:
1) If I don't want to speak to the person I should be able to ignore it.
2) When the call comes in and I'm listening to the stereo I have to switch to the auxiliary before I can use the phone but the person calling hears whatever I'm listening to.
Anyway to disable the auto answer?
I have a 6760 slide phone in a pouch on my belt. It automatically answers a call when I remove the phone from the pouch. I am positive that I am not hitting any keys when removing the phone from the pouch, and I have AnyKey answer off in settings. As far as I can see it can only be the motion detector, or the light sensor automatically answering the call. This is extremely frustrating as I do not get to decide whether to silence the call. I have looked extensively on the Internet, in the manual and in the phone settings but can not stop this happing.

View 7 Replies View RelatedMy bluetooth was working fine in the beginning, but now I'm unable to start the bluetooth and/or pair it to any devices.I setup from the bluetooth menu the bluetooth on, visible and name it but, when I click "save" button nothing happens. When I re-enter the menu all the settings are gone, and the bluetooth has never started.
I just downloaded today/yesterday the latest maemo update and was hoping this would fix the problem but the problem still exists.
I am using different Bluetooth headsets.Everyone of those disconnects after the first or the second call. I'm using the stereo BH-103 and also the BH-602, plus the BlueAnt Z9i.I make a call, sometimes two and after 5 to 10 minutes I noticed there is no sound, the headset has dropped or just totaly closed.Is there anything I can do. Of course I have a N900, which perfectly besides this much anoying issue.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am very disappointed. My lovely new n900 (updated to latest firmware after getting it out of box and no apps installed yet) does not recognise my BH-202 headset. This is DESPITE the nokia site saying it is compatible.Does anyone know how to make it work or if it or any other nokia headset does (although I don't see why I should need to buy a new one). I am pretty sure it violates some consumer law to say something is compatible and will work, and then for it not to work..... I desperately need bluetooth as I take calls while driving for business LOTS.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi seem to be having a bluetooth challenge in not getting all the drivers.on my desktop (win 7/64bit) i am connected and can transfer files just fine. it took a while but finally all the drivers kicked in after a number of attempts.however, on my booklet 3g, win7/32bit, i cannot send files from my n900 to my booklet, only FROM my booklet.
seems no matter what i do i cannot get my booklet to load the additional drivers.in lookin on my phone in the bluetooth settings between what is different:on my desktop connection under supported profies: a2dp, ftp, hsp, opp and on my booklet connection under supprted profies: *blank*
so i think the issue is obvious there. but i dont understand why the phone is not sending the bluetooth drivers or the booklet is not being able to find the drivers to make my transfers work correctly.i have tried going to broadcom and downloading the latest driver package (did this for my desktop) but when i launch it, it doesnt even find my bluetooth adapter in my booklet, says to turn it on, but no matter what i do, (it is on) it will not recognize it to move on...
i have a N900 and i cant share muy docs and pics with the bluetooth.. but i can recive the data from another phone.... what can i do ?? it a problem with the software ? why i cant send the data but i can recive ?

auto connection to in car kit ,have read through the help pages, and set to authorize, but will not patch in ,have to do it manually everytime, what a nightmare!! My phone will auto answer private numbers without ringing at the exact moment the call come in. Went through the settings and there is nothing wrong. Auto answer is deactivated in call options.

1) I am unable to work out how to bluetooth mp3 files to another mobile. Ok with videos and pictures as option is there but nothing for mp3's.
2) Can't pair the phone with car kit. I have the password which is the same as previous one but when pairing n900 I get an error message saying 'authentication failed'.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi have a brand new nokia 5800 xpress music and been trying to enable javascript as prompted when going online for the first few times. i have clicked on the 'how to' wording next to the prompt but when i do then next page says 'sorry, the page you requested cannot be found'. i'm not sure but i think that this may be the reason that when i go to look at videos on Internet i get about one second of streaming and then it stops?just want my nice to phone to work properly.
View 6 Replies View Relatedi realy your help in this one, now i live in Lebanon, and i'm searching for a n900, but the other day my freind told that you can't check for your balance in your phone operartor, is that true, were i live, you need to recharge your phone in before you make phone calls, send messages etc, and to see how much dollars(or what ever its called) you still have in what you have recharged, you need to press *11# and than the green button, and than a message shows up showing you your phone operator balance, is it true that that can't be done on the n900? i like it how i can overclock the n900 from 600 mhz to 1000 mhz in less than 30 sec.
