View 2 Replies View RelatedMy phone does not have Market application in it. I wonder If it was removed or if there is a version of X10 without Market application. Kindly let me know how to get the Market applicaiton on my phone. My phone is running on Android 1.6.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to dowload applications from 'market' and when I click on the application and press on Install I get the 'Accept permiossion' prompt and then press 'ok' . On receiving the 'Item downloading'n message I assume that everythiong is ok but that's where the process stops and my applications seem to be in a frozen state of download without ever actually downloading.
I've visited the Orange store in Leicester today and waited 40 minutes for an 'Expert' to tell me that the fault lies with Android 2.1 and if I download 2.2, everything will be fine. Oh how I wish. Clearly 2.2 is not available as a download for the X10 and I'm now at my wits end as to know what to do apart from taking a large sleddgehammer to the phone!
you can drag ^ on home screen and see the application which i downloaded from market (free applications) like games etc, i cant see application drawer in my entire menu, i see icon name by application installer but when i open that its empty, so i am still wondering where all downloaded application are? i mean from where i can find them i have only OI file manager which is installed on my phone nothing else?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've recently bought the x10 mini pro and have upgraded it to android 2.1. This also updated the android market to the newest version but now i cant download anything from the market. It gets stuck on "Starting Download" or on occasion "Download Unsucessful.".
View 9 Replies View RelatedI've downloaded a lot of programs from android marked without problems, but about a month ago it stopped working. When i press download, i get a message that the X10 mini pro is now downloading the program.... and that is about it.. nothing else happens and im not getting any program.. not even a sign that its downloading.
If i go to the same program in the app-store, that i earlier pressed download, it is saying that it is already starting the download..
How to use a Theme that i have downloaded on Market. I have downloaded a lot of them but cant use them.
View 4 Replies View RelatedA bit of a strange one here concerning the android market.I have trouble accessing the market and it seems to be an old version, however when I uninstall updates I get
a much newer looking faster version thats works fine, however after an hour or so it has reverted back to the old, slow version.
I dont know what i have done or deleted improperly but I can no longer get android market to work on my X10 mini pro phone today. I have tried clearing cache and re-starting phone, turning off wi-fi and turning it back on again. when i click on the Market Icon i just get a white screen briefly for under a second and then it goes back to standby/menu screen I cannot get android market at all. I dont really fancy restoring the phone back to factory defaults to get it sorted out, is there any other way I can restore the market can I maybe download it and associated files from the internet somewhere. My phone is updated to 2.1 firmware by the way.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am having trouble downloading from Android market on my Xperia X10 mini pro. I have updated the software from 1.6 to 2.1, I have tried signing out of google talk, removing the market updates and clearing the market cache and have now done a factory reset and I still can't download from the market. Any apps I have tried to download are showing on the market on my computer as being downloaded. My husband has the same phone running the same software and has no problems downloading from the market.

View 2 Replies View Relatedthrough adb i read the message "E/vending(1428): [23] AsynchRequestRunner$1.run(): Got auth failure from server -> invalidating auth tokens." Is there any way to fix it without have to factory reset the device? I don't want to loose all contacts media and applications i loaded on phone.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently cannot update my apps from Android market. It gives an error that says "Download was unsuccessful, please try again'. My software is updated, am I missing something here?
View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen I'm at home, I keep my 3G data services turned off. I have a wifi connection and the 3G connection isn't very good inside my house anyway. For some reason, every time I open Android Market, it tells me I have to turn on data services, even if I'm connected already to wifi, and then it keeps interrupting because of the poor 3G connection. Is there any way to force this application to use wifi? I have no problem with other applications.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have checked unknown sources. Still i am not able to intall non market apps... i upgraded firmware to.587 from then i am facing this. I wont be able to tap on install button once i open apk file.. But cancel button works very fine... BTW my device is not rooted
View 4 Replies View RelatedI rooted my phone a few days ago to remove all the useless apps that the phone comes with. I basically got ride of a code reader, some stupid games, and a bunch of "trial version" applications.I just noticed now that I can't download apps from the Android Market anymore, and this is probably what caused it. Everything else on my phone still works perfectly.
When I try to download an app from the Android Market, I select the app to be downloaded, press "Install", then press "OK" when it gives me the list of what the app has access to.Once I press "OK" a popup appears that says "Your Item Will be Downloaded". That's it. Nothing appears in the notification bar, and the download doesn't go at all.
Recently I have updated my X10 mini to Android 2.1. Every thing seems working fine except the Android Market app. I can search, and browse Android Market. But I am failing to download ANY app from the Market. The download icon does appear; but after a while it says "download paused". I searched through different forums and found that one very common suggestion is to boot the phone by pressing "Power" and "Home" key. No luck by booting either.

View 8 Replies View Relatedwith the tiny screen size of the mini pro, I find the language bar that comes up when typing with the hardware keyboard very, very irritating. I mean, who in the world needs to quickly change keyboard languages in the middle of a text message? So, back under 1.6, I found out that you could just uncheck the Default Input Settings box under "Language and Keyboard" and the stupid bar would go away. All I did was uncheck it once, and everything was great! But, being greedy, I updated to the 2.1 update1 Singapore firmware, and now the langauge bar is back. I can go into the settings and uncheck it the default input settings box, and in some random amount of time, it will magically reenable itsself. I probably do this about 10 times a day, which is seriously imparing my enjoyment of the phone. I've tried using advanced task killer to autokill backround applications and processes, but I can't seem to make any progress on this.
