Xperia X10 Mini/pro :: Possible To Have Android Market Update
Dec 29, 2010
A bit of a strange one here concerning the android market.I have trouble accessing the market and it seems to be an old version, however when I uninstall updates I get
a much newer looking faster version thats works fine, however after an hour or so it has reverted back to the old, slow version.
I've recently bought the x10 mini pro and have upgraded it to android 2.1. This also updated the android market to the newest version but now i cant download anything from the market. It gets stuck on "Starting Download" or on occasion "Download Unsucessful.".
I've downloaded a lot of programs from android marked without problems, but about a month ago it stopped working. When i press download, i get a message that the X10 mini pro is now downloading the program.... and that is about it.. nothing else happens and im not getting any program.. not even a sign that its downloading.
If i go to the same program in the app-store, that i earlier pressed download, it is saying that it is already starting the download..
I dont know what i have done or deleted improperly but I can no longer get android market to work on my X10 mini pro phone today. I have tried clearing cache and re-starting phone, turning off wi-fi and turning it back on again. when i click on the Market Icon i just get a white screen briefly for under a second and then it goes back to standby/menu screen I cannot get android market at all. I dont really fancy restoring the phone back to factory defaults to get it sorted out, is there any other way I can restore the market can I maybe download it and associated files from the internet somewhere. My phone is updated to 2.1 firmware by the way.
I have experienced some problems downloading apps from Android Market. The apps in question are "apps2sd" "BBCiplayer" and "Words with friends" The Android Market web sites lists the apps but the Android Market app on the phone will not find them! I have also tried installing them direct from the web site through the browser but this willl not work.
I am having trouble downloading from Android market on my Xperia X10 mini pro. I have updated the software from 1.6 to 2.1, I have tried signing out of google talk, removing the market updates and clearing the market cache and have now done a factory reset and I still can't download from the market. Any apps I have tried to download are showing on the market on my computer as being downloaded. My husband has the same phone running the same software and has no problems downloading from the market.
when i'm trying to go to android-market i log in with my Google-account, but it always says that my phone isn't ready for internet connections. But the phone is already using WiFi and is connected.
When I'm at home, I keep my 3G data services turned off. I have a wifi connection and the 3G connection isn't very good inside my house anyway. For some reason, every time I open Android Market, it tells me I have to turn on data services, even if I'm connected already to wifi, and then it keeps interrupting because of the poor 3G connection. Is there any way to force this application to use wifi? I have no problem with other applications.
I rooted my phone a few days ago to remove all the useless apps that the phone comes with. I basically got ride of a code reader, some stupid games, and a bunch of "trial version" applications.I just noticed now that I can't download apps from the Android Market anymore, and this is probably what caused it. Everything else on my phone still works perfectly.
When I try to download an app from the Android Market, I select the app to be downloaded, press "Install", then press "OK" when it gives me the list of what the app has access to.Once I press "OK" a popup appears that says "Your Item Will be Downloaded". That's it. Nothing appears in the notification bar, and the download doesn't go at all.
I am currently using a Experia mini pro U20i. My phone dont want update nor download any applications from Android market but I can access my web browsers(internet working perfectly). When trying to download it gives the following error massage "Download was unsuccessful, please try again" I have check the internet settings and even requested my network providers to send me thier setting but didnt succeed, and my software is even updated.
Everytime that i try to use the Android market it comes up "Sorry! The application market (process.com.vending) has stopped unexpectedly."And now that i have tried to update the phone to the latest software it wont let me
Using the PC companion i followed all steps to do the update which seemed succesfull until i tried loading some apps from the market .they say they are loading but they dont seem to be progressing .everything else seems ok i can go on facebook and google stuff on the internet but just this problem.
I recently cannot update my apps from Android market. It gives an error that says "Download was unsuccessful, please try again'. My software is updated, am I missing something here?
I have a new Xperia mini (ST15i) and issues with the screen (instable, sometimes I have to pull out the battery). I red that an upgrade to Android 4 might solve the issue. See current version below.
I've tried to upgrade with PC Companion but the software sais that the phone is allready up-to-date. I also tried "repair" but that installs the same firm- and software that is allready on it
How can I upgrade to Android 4 and/or solve the issue?
how to get rid of this ICS update and update into the old android version. I am having some serious problems whith my phone after ICS update (physical keyboard not working, problems in adding phone contacts, reboots after every app close, acting slow).
