Got a bold 9900 with software version 7.1.0 bundle 1149 and my carrier is vodacom South Africa. My phone will auto answer private numbers without ringing at the exact moment the call come in. Went through the settings and there is nothing wrong. Auto answer is deactivated in call options.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought a 9900 recently and when people call me or I call out, I can't hear them! They can hear me fine when I answer but the line is completely dead - radio silence! Every other sound aspect on the phone is working fine - alarm, BB alerts, ringtones, etc took it to a phone shop fo repair yesterdy and they changed the speaker/mic, but to no avail.

Over the past year I have accumulated a lot of pictures and videos, then suddenly I received a message saying the memory is full. I then connected my device to my MacBook and removed all media, however I still get a message saying that more than half of my memory is being taken up by something. I have deleted all user installed applications apart from the following; Facebook, twitter, facebook messenger, whatsapp), I have checked the memory usage for these applications and together they don't total over around 50MB.
I have backed up my phone and was about to perform a security wipe, however a bit worried when it said e-mails wont be sendable or receivable after the security wipe.
How do I block people from calling me with an unknown number?Is there a free app available ?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a Bold 9900. Of late, I have had a problem wherein I am unable to hear the phone's ring. The phone vibrates and I can see a call coming in. When I answer the call, I cant hear the person at the other end of the line, nor can the other person hear me. If I try ringing someone, I cant hear their phone ringing, but I get the message that we are connected, but cant have any conversation. When I do a full power off and restart, its all back to normal.

I bought a BB 9650 unlocked from Verizon, and i am using it in Canada with Fido, and when i get phone calls from people, it shows up as unknown number, but i realize i have these people numbers stored on my contact list super weird.
Me and my wife have had the new Bold for about 2 months now. Ever since we had the phone we have been recieving the message "n:m=1=1" from 10476000000 every 15 minutes and it is real annoying. I took over the phone and did a clean reboot, and changing to my telephone number thinking this message was connected to her email accounts but I am also recieving the same message every 15 min. T-Mobile doesn't have a clue either. Anyone else have this problem and offer a solution.

I think it's an big error/problem for this phone. It costs 600 euros, it costs like and iphone 4. I cannot scan document. The next time I will buy an Iphone. BB bold 9900 0 - Iphone 1. Iphone wins!!

They are disconnected from the other end after 3 seconds...there is no one on the line, nothing computerized, no static, nothing. Anyone else having these issues? I have the latest VZW software fwiw.
