Jun 7, 2011Ive just got a new bold 9900, and i have set up call waiting, but cant seem to set an alert for it. So i still dont know when someone else is trying to get through.

Jul 14, 2010I have a friend that just bought this BlackBerry Bold 9700 and the call waiting beep volume is so low he is missing his calls.He called blackberry, his provider and is getting nowhere they keep telling him to return the device for a new one and he did once but of course didn't fix this problem.They came out with a new download that was suppose to fix this problem but guess what it didn't.Blackberry doesn't seem to care about this problem but you bet if it was their buisness calls they was missing they'd fix it faster.Anyone no of any new News on this? Jul 7, 2012I have a Bold 9900. Of late, I have had a problem wherein I am unable to hear the phone's ring. The phone vibrates and I can see a call coming in. When I answer the call, I cant hear the person at the other end of the line, nor can the other person hear me. If I try ringing someone, I cant hear their phone ringing, but I get the message that we are connected, but cant have any conversation. When I do a full power off and restart, its all back to normal.

Sep 3, 2012Got a bold 9900 with software version 7.1.0 bundle 1149 and my carrier is vodacom South Africa. My phone will auto answer private numbers without ringing at the exact moment the call come in. Went through the settings and there is nothing wrong. Auto answer is deactivated in call options.

Nov 5, 2012I have a BB 9900 that is only a week old.The BB works perfectly, that is until someone calls me.I can answer the phone, hear and speak with the person on the other end - no issues. I can use BBM, texting etc, no issues.The problem occurs when I try to hang up after someone calls me. The phone freezes.I can press the hang up button, but it does not return to the main screen.It freezes at the caller ID screen and I have to yank the battery out of it to get back to the main screen that has all the icons on it.

Jan 21, 2012BB is Bold 9900. When making a call I can't hear the caller. But when using headset or speaker I can hear it clearly. I tried deleting everything back to factory settings using Wipe Data but didn't help. Also trying to plugin and out the headset several times but doesn't help either.

Sep 22, 2011My new Bold 9900 has terrible echoing for the person talking to me while I am on my cellThey say every line comes back at them and I sound like I am "under water". I have had the phone replaced 3 times, and the sim card replaced 3 times. I have had the account cancelled and recreated and still no satisfaction. It is worse when the call first starts, then it gets better sometimes and then continues echoing, and if the caller has a clear signal then my own voice starts echoing. I don't know what else to do - one technician thought it could be my data is corrupt?? I don't think that is the case.

The issue I am getting is frequently mobile is getting silent automatically No ringtone is ringing, when I am getting incoming call only display is coming, when I am receiving call I cannot hear anything. So everytime I have to switch off mobile and remove battery and restart the phone again, for sometime everything is working fine but after some hours again getting silent.
