I'm a proud owner of a new Bold 9900 bought today. However, just now i was trying the Holster and it doesnt work. I believe the magnet is placed abit too low. As when I tried my phone placement outside the holster it seems to be able to auto lock if i placed it abit lower. Is there any way to get the holster replace?

Our mobile signal is extremely limited since we're out in the country so wifi is essential here.On my 9700, wifi worked perfectly with all applications but that doesn't appear to be the case with the bold 9900. Several apps are extremely slow or don't work at all. I think the reason for this is the 9900 isn't using wifi for some apps. I believe some apps are using wifi such as the browser and facebook but app world, google maps, scoremobile, whatsapp and tunein radio to name a few don't appear to be using wifi at all.

View 2 Replies View Relatedyesterday my phone switches off automatically at battery level 15, and today at battery level 25 the phone switches off again... Then at the moment I plug my charger cable into my phone (at battery level 15) it reboots and after the reboot the touchscreen no longer works. Then I upgraded Whatsapp and rebooted my phone again to see if it is fixed, but it still isn't the touchscreen simply doesn't work... It doesn't respond when I press on screen icon or scroll or whatever I do.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIf I use the holster that came with my 9930, it goes into sleep mode like it is supposed to, but I don't like that holster. It's too difficult to remove the BB from those holsters, when you grab it to slide it out, you also push the volume up key.I prefer the face-in spring loaded belt holster like I used with my Bold 9650. I am using ones designed for the Bold 9000 and they fit, but the holster sleep mode doesn't work. I tested the holsters with an old 9000 and they do work correctly, but no luck with the 9930 - as if the magnets are in a different location.

View 6 Replies View RelatedJust upgraded from bold 9000 to 9700. I upgraded my OS to version .743. After that, I stopped getting visual voice mail notifications. The message is there when I dial "1", but doesn't show up at all under the VVM menu, nor do I get the visual indication(s). It did work on the AT&T OS out of the box. Second issue with this O.S.- phone does not lock when it is in the holster. I have to believe both these issues are with the .743 version of the OS, but I may be missing something. I've read others with the VVM problem, not none of the threads seem to offer a solution except to say that AT&T WAS having issues with this back in November.

my sons nokia 5530 has just been in for repair as it kept switching off soon as a call was answered (received phone back thurs 15th july ) all seems to be working fine now until he noticed today the auto rotate doesn't work i've checked the settings and the box has been checked also removed the battery for a while to see if it kicks it into touch can anyone shed some light as to why this might be happening before i take the phone back into shop, its not a massive issue but it is a function he likes to use.

I use the same iPhone, telekom phone number, telekom login account id, telekom account password. The manual login works without problem. Nothing else has changed, but the ios upgrade. So it seams to be a bug in the ios upgrade.

I have a BB 9900 with OS 7.1.0.694 and the Auto Dim Backlight feature adjusts the brightness of my screen, even when the box is unchecked in Options/Display. Is there a way to deal with this OTHER than reinstalling the OS?

I think it's an big error/problem for this phone. It costs 600 euros, it costs like and iphone 4. I cannot scan document. The next time I will buy an Iphone. BB bold 9900 0 - Iphone 1. Iphone wins!!

With my old BB Bold, I had my phone set to vibrate for messages and phone calls when in the holster. When out of the holster, I had the phone ringing with my personal ring tones while everything else vibrated.
I cannot figure out how to do the same with my new Curve 9900.
is autofocus feature not available in bold 9900 ? , i shot many amazing pictures with blackberry torch 9800. I couldnt see same performance from camera in 9900.

View 4 Replies View RelatedJust bought the nokia E7. Well had little problems with it but have been solving them bit by bit.The problem that I haven't solved yet is that when locking the phone and creating the password to unlock it, it doesn't seem to work.
I touch the power button to lock and it locks. A screen with number appears so that I can put the password and selecting any number or even pressing cancel unlocks the phone.
