Sometimes when I activate my phone, there is no wifi icon at the top on the status bar, then after a few minutes it appears. Does the wifi connection on the phone turn off after a time idle? or is my phone keep losing connection? And also if it is losing connection has anyone else had this problem?

I have nokia X7 at first I have no problem connecting to wifi. I can connect and can browse internet but after a week can still connect to wifi but the problem is a can't connect to the internet I can't open even google and it says "Browser unable to connect to website". And it also happening at home sometimes i can connect to wifi and can brows to internet but most of the time I cant browse to internet and at my work until now I cant open internet via wifi even the connection is 100%. And when I check to connection manager "status connection (inactive). I also do restore factory settings but I have same problem, I didn't change any setting in my nokia x7.

I tried SupremeSettings but that only let me change the carrier text and also proved to be quite conflicting with other apps until I removed it. I'm running 3.1.2 so some older mods don't work either.
I did a jb a couple months ago, I loved it but then it froze on me causing me to restore. So I decided not to jb again. So now instead of having the original "AT&T" on the status bar, it has my name. Do I need to jb it again to change it back? I also remember when I did a back up after a restore, it went from AT&T to my name.
I have a 3gs, 3.1.3 and I do remember saving some sort of file to someone(in order to jb again i suppose?)

View 9 Replies View RelatedI've recently been getting an icon in my HTC One M8's status bar, which is sort of like a pause symbol in a speech bubble. I initially thought it may have been the sleep mode function which can detect when you aren't using the phone so it turns off the data connection, but I turned that off and the symbol still appears.
It only appears for a few seconds when I unlock the phone and then it disappears, so it took loads of attempts to even get this screenshot. Ignore the other icons in the status bar, I've just got my phone plugged in to my PC. The Icon does seem to apear only when the phone is charging, either plugged into my PC or the mains. The symbol I'm confused about is the very top left symbol.
I've found a minor issue with my M9. On the lockscreen I can access the status/notification bar by pulling it down, however when i try to clear it (swipe up) the bar won't seem to go back up. It stays there after several attempts, then eventually the lockscreen will go into my main homescreen. The status bar seems to work fine when on the homescreen though.

The translucent white track ball on the bottom blinks slowly about every 10 seconds when you have a new email or message. The top tiny LED to the right of the ear piece glows steady green when fully charged and steady red when charging. I recall it blinking green at one point but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to make it do this or what that would mean.Do any of you have any info. about either the [phantom] blinking green LED or any other status light issues?
