Nokia :: N86 - Status In US?
Mar 27, 2010Newegg.com currently shows the N86 'sold out', and it does not appear at all on amazon.com, not even as a discontinued item. Does anyone know what is happening to the N86 in the USA?

Jul 15, 2010I've a Nokia E55 with Maps 3.04. Up until a few days ago, when I used Maps I had a nice small bar in the lower right corner showing satellite reception, and also a small bar showing data transfer. Now I just have the data transfer bar and the satellite status bar is gone.

Apr 22, 2010The Battery Bar on my phone is always high, and then the phone switches off and needs charging after a while. This is because it makes me think it is fully charged. I can;t update my firmware because of T-Mobile's restriction. Is there an app to check my Phone Status, including battery life? The Nokia Device Status one from the Beta Labs doesn't work on my N79, it won't install.Also, is there a way to bypass the T-Mobiel restriction and update my phone? And finally, is BBC iPlayer actually meant to work on this phone?

Feb 9, 2012The Upgrade to Belle was nice (except for lost applications and the annoying fact, that WiFi is now "always-on"), but what bothers me most is, that the phone feels it necessary to show, that I'm using line 1 on the top status bar. I can understand that it's important to know, if I would be using line 2 accidentially, but since line 1 is the default, I don't want to know about it. So how do I get rid of this ugly "1" on top? It looks OK but although I was able to view status of battery in old version, currently either I couldn't find how or there is no such thing anymore. When I touch to battery symbol, it just tries to pull the dashboard down like Android but it doesn't show there.

Mar 17, 2010I have had my n97 for about 2 weeks now and I have not been able to use the facebook application (from ovi) at all. I am with Optus and can access facebook via the web (Optus Zoo), however I cannot use the actual Nokia facebook application.Whenever I try to access the application it takes me to the log-in screen for facebook, and once I have entered my username and password it thinks for a few seconds and then tells me: "Error occurred. Incorrect signature, status: 104"I have looked through forums on the web and it seems like it is a pretty common problem for the Nokia phone. Everything I have read in various forums has lead me to believe that Nokia don't know how to fix the problem either, or just don't care.I am getting really, really, really frustrated with it. I am pretty addicted to facebook and love playing facebook games.
I am dieing to kill some time during my commute by playing some games, and because I can't use the proper application, it would seem I can't play the games.
Can anyone please tell me if hey had this problem and were able to fix it? Did you have to get in touch with Nokia? Were they any help?The forums seem to show that people have been advised to remove the application and reinstall and to clear their cache/browsing history. However, I haven't come across anyone yet where this has actually helped the problem. I haven't come across a single person yet who can actually use the facebook application either.

Feb 10, 2012i upgraded my nokia e7 to nokia belle recently and I was very excited but after the update I found out that there no longer was a battery status showing the percentage left. I really liked the old battery status so you would know how much battery life is left. It is just a bit weird that a very good thing from the previous version is discontinued on the belle version.

I've removed Facebook from Accounts on the Phone and Re-added it to no avail. I am at a loss as to what else I could try to make it work.
This began after activating my new Lumia 900 on AT&T. I previously had an HTC Arrive on Sprint and tested it on there and it no longer can post status updated either.I feel like this either has to be a Facebook account setting or Windows Live account setting but I've tried everything I can think of and am now at a loss.ve unlinked Facebook from Windows Live and relinked it already.

Mar 8, 2012I love the new features that came with the Belle update, the email and social clients are great! but the only thing is that the mail client doesnt seem to sync mail "Read" status, so when i look at my mail on my N8, it will still be marked unread on my PC and vice versa.Is this an issue that is known and will it be fixed?

Feb 11, 2010Can anyone enlighten me on how to change the status bar so it can include a logo (beside carrier) like I've seen on several posts (apple logo, oo7 logo, etc).
I tried SupremeSettings but that only let me change the carrier text and also proved to be quite conflicting with other apps until I removed it. I'm running 3.1.2 so some older mods don't work either.
