Feb 10, 2012i upgraded my nokia e7 to nokia belle recently and I was very excited but after the update I found out that there no longer was a battery status showing the percentage left. I really liked the old battery status so you would know how much battery life is left. It is just a bit weird that a very good thing from the previous version is discontinued on the belle version.

Oct 15, 2012Overall, I like the user experience of Belle. What really sucks is the battery life: one day or less. Now I've found a "guide" to flash back Anna and am considering this step because I've read more than once that Anna is better on this side.Sincerely, when I had Anna I didn't notice these great performances, but maybe it depended on a young battery. So now I'd like to know if anyone can support the choice of Anna for increasing the battery life.

I am online at annoying time connected to my service provider but 8-10 hours is really bad. Also my emails do not sync immediately only does when I synchronize it. What do I Do? But now my matter of concern is that I hear rumors that the talktime of the Nokia E6 is very less, much lesser than as claimed by Nokia!! Is this right?? Can anybody please clarify? Sep 20, 2010I just upgraded from an E71 to the E5, primarly to get a better battery life. I use Exchange ActiveSync, with 15 minute checks. My service is AT&T 3.5G, and I keep the radio in dual mode. In a normal day on the E71, I could get 12 hours of use out of the phone before running the battery down.
Out of the box, same settings, my E5 is getting about 4-6 hours. Longer if I don't make any phone calls. But if I talk on the phone for 20-30 minutes, it will last around 4 hours total.
I am in the Dallas, TX market, and got the phone from Amazon. Has anyone else had similar experience? Any recommendation? This is really bad, and I am about ready to just return the phone to Amazon, and go back to my E71

Dec 22, 2011I've had my e5-00 for about a year now and I could always get around 3 - 4 days of use out of it without charging. Now, after upgrading to 081.004, the battery doesn't even last for a day. I have to charge it approx. every 20 hours and that's without calling, texting, browsing or using the phone at all really. Wifi and bluetooth are turned off and I didn't change any other settings.

After installing Nokia Belle in my Nokia N8, i feel that my battery drains down very badly. ITS ALREADY BEEN POSTED BY MANY NOKIATES. I need some suggestions to gain battery life. I have followed all the methods to increase my battery life (using only 4 home screens, using battery Monitor to check which applications use more batter life, screensavers => off, digital clock, background black, theme black, Mail widget off, Search widget off) but i seriously dont understand the funda behind 'Battery Monitor' application, my 70% of battery life is taken by 'Background'; Anybody knows what does this background actually means in 'BAttery Monitor' application? I am not sure why my battery is getting empty very soon, it wasnt lik this when i was using Symbian Anna OS.Everyday when i sleep by 11 PM and in morning my mob is switched off ( No problem with my battery since it wasnt like this with Symbian Anna OS). Can somebody explain what are all the background application is running with Belle OS ?

Jun 9, 2012I have an E7-00 that was recently replaced under warranty as the usb port had become very iffy and it was almost impossible to charge. The replacement phone has Belle installed, which is the most un-useable piece of software I have seen in a fair while. It is far less useful for business than Anna was, and I need to remove it and step back to Anna, if only because I used to be able to have 4 email inboxes on my front screen as well as the time, profile, date AND notifications area... now this takes three home screens to achieve which is completely useless.
Short of binning the phone and returning to an E90 (beginning to wish I'd never moved away from it) how can I make my E7 useable again?

Feb 13, 2012we have in family 3 phones Nokia E7-00 and now found that we can't update to Belle software, because is possible just through PC. Nokia suite is still not available for Apple users.For luck we are based in Edinburgh where Nokia have Nokia care store - with extremely fast and friendly support, they make the upgrade in few minutes for us free of charge. But the issue is we need to run 20km to the store....would be more easy do it by our self at home - if Nokia is able produce some kind of software make this possible. Im sure they must be many Apple users that use Nokia phones The E7-00 is very great phone with many futures and also durable - work in extremely low temperatures under -20C in Mountains.

Feb 13, 2012I just got a brand new Nokia E7-00 (MODEL: RM-626, IMEI: *). I have connected my device via USB cable under OVI suite mode, updated Nokia PC suite to the latest version, 3.3.86), and tried to perform two operations; with no success:
#1: Backing up my Nokia E7-00.Result: Back up doesn't just complete, and the following screenshoot is previewed when phone settings are being backed up, and then phone is totally shut down (Contact, Calendar, etc.. Backup is done successfully and counter shows 100% for each).Definitely, I press continue (ATTACHED PIC 1) and turn on the phone again, having nothing changed..
#2: Upgrading my Symbian software to Belle; with no success as well.Result: after the phone is connected, back up operation starts, Nokia Suite backs up Calendar, Contacts, etc... Successfully until reaching Dictionary predetective settings to be backed up where the phone is shut down. A message similar to the above snip shot shows up saying that something went wrong, and that the phone will restart and operation will continue with no avail. I press continue, phone totally shuts down, I manually turn it on. and get the last screen shot below (ATTACHED PIC 3) (phone settings had no changes made).
