Feb 10, 2012i upgraded my nokia e7 to nokia belle recently and I was very excited but after the update I found out that there no longer was a battery status showing the percentage left. I really liked the old battery status so you would know how much battery life is left. It is just a bit weird that a very good thing from the previous version is discontinued on the belle version.

Jun 9, 2012I have an E7-00 that was recently replaced under warranty as the usb port had become very iffy and it was almost impossible to charge. The replacement phone has Belle installed, which is the most un-useable piece of software I have seen in a fair while. It is far less useful for business than Anna was, and I need to remove it and step back to Anna, if only because I used to be able to have 4 email inboxes on my front screen as well as the time, profile, date AND notifications area... now this takes three home screens to achieve which is completely useless.
Short of binning the phone and returning to an E90 (beginning to wish I'd never moved away from it) how can I make my E7 useable again?

Feb 13, 2012we have in family 3 phones Nokia E7-00 and now found that we can't update to Belle software, because is possible just through PC. Nokia suite is still not available for Apple users.For luck we are based in Edinburgh where Nokia have Nokia care store - with extremely fast and friendly support, they make the upgrade in few minutes for us free of charge. But the issue is we need to run 20km to the store....would be more easy do it by our self at home - if Nokia is able produce some kind of software make this possible. Im sure they must be many Apple users that use Nokia phones The E7-00 is very great phone with many futures and also durable - work in extremely low temperatures under -20C in Mountains.

Dec 22, 2012My Nokia E7's Maps claims to be v3.09 12wk09 b05, MW OpenGL MN, Map version 0.2.47103 and 'SW Update' in checking for the latest improvements for (the) Nokia E7-00, says "Good news. Your E7-00 is already fully up-to-date."
Just before a weekly backup through Nokia Suite 3.6.36, I notice an opportunity to update the maps and, silly me, I decided to cheese the 'All' option erroneously thinking I'd have success updating 1,800+MB of map data; needless to say, at around 950MB or so, the error message of 'unrecoverable download error' or something to that effect left me with fewer maps than with which I began, including my local neighborhood!I attempted (several times) to download the map covering my local area and, when I tapped on the little red dot that show my current location, the surrounding vicinity is blank with the exception of several stars showing some of my Favorites.
Tapping the '-' to zoom out, however, reveals what appears to be street lines on half of the screen. Sure enough, there are some 'distant' Favorites, complete with streets but no street names except for major highways. Scrolling around leads to a screen freeze and even the lower left-hand 'x' to close fails as does any other attempt to close or even move to a different home screen. Closing the E7 and flipping it back open does nothing. Holding down the power button gives me three short, quick vibrations and then again gives me a reboot.
Back in Maps shows I have no maps at all; however, I can access Favorites in other countries. Downloading a map for the area where I live takes me back to my original dilemma where my current location is shown, but the surrounding vicinity is blank with the exception of several stars showing some of my Favorites, including those in different countries; however, even there not all streets/street names appear.Deleting that previously downloaded map and downloading it again makes no difference.

Jun 5, 2012I'm in the process of running software updates on the fleet of E51 mobile phones we use here at work.I've got to the very last mobile, and although it is running 200.34.36, it is not allowing me to update it to the latest 400. series version as per the other ~10 mobiles i have done.(I have done all prior updates including this one through the Nokia Suite v3.4.49.

Feb 13, 2012I just got a brand new Nokia E7-00 (MODEL: RM-626, IMEI: *). I have connected my device via USB cable under OVI suite mode, updated Nokia PC suite to the latest version, 3.3.86), and tried to perform two operations; with no success:
#1: Backing up my Nokia E7-00.Result: Back up doesn't just complete, and the following screenshoot is previewed when phone settings are being backed up, and then phone is totally shut down (Contact, Calendar, etc.. Backup is done successfully and counter shows 100% for each).Definitely, I press continue (ATTACHED PIC 1) and turn on the phone again, having nothing changed..
#2: Upgrading my Symbian software to Belle; with no success as well.Result: after the phone is connected, back up operation starts, Nokia Suite backs up Calendar, Contacts, etc... Successfully until reaching Dictionary predetective settings to be backed up where the phone is shut down. A message similar to the above snip shot shows up saying that something went wrong, and that the phone will restart and operation will continue with no avail. I press continue, phone totally shuts down, I manually turn it on. and get the last screen shot below (ATTACHED PIC 3) (phone settings had no changes made). Nov 7, 2011Whenever I read the PR statements about Symbian Belle, the older Symbian^3 touchscreen only phones such as the N8, C6-01, C7 etc are mentioned as being eligible for the Belle update, but nothing specifically about the E6-00.

Feb 8, 2012I have installed Belle yesterday on my E6. I loved the interface very much but some of the options of 'Anna' were missing here quiet to my disappointment. First of all the easy multitask viewing option of my Anna interface was missing here. Whenever I started a new program, the previous one was hard to find, even in the notification bar. I have to go again to the previous program through menu search.Secondly by D-pad is not working as it should be. Only the right and left is working, its not going up and down. I have to screen touch all the time on my E6 Maybe Belle was designed exclusively for all touch screen phones. E6 and E7 being an exception. I have to get the feedback from E7 users, if they are facing the same problem.

This morning at around 6am the phone was beeping or something so i put it on charge, i was too tired to realize the kind of sound it was so i put it on charge and went back to sleep and found it off later on, i tried hard resetting it, putting it on charge, but it won't come on.I lost connection to my phone during the installation of the update but after doing the the installation process it worked fine)

Mar 31, 2012It seems I cannot delete individual folders on the E7-00 mass memory. I mis-spelled a folder name and wanted to delete it. You can only select multiple folders and not individual folders to delete or rename.
Had to use USB connection via Windows 7 to delete folder on phone mass memory.

Feb 21, 2012The SIP client at my Nokia E6 with Belle can not login to the VoIP account. I receive error message - Incomplete settings please contact your service provider. With the same set of parameters my previous Nokia phones E75 and E61i worked fine with the same service provider. I have contacted help desk of my VoIP service provider and they told me me they have received huge number of similar notifications related to Anna and Belle. Moreover they told me that this issue has been reported to Nokia and they hoped the problem will be solved soon but so far it has not been solved. The VoIP provider I use is IPFON in Poland.
Has somebody faced similar problem with the same or other VoIP provider? Or any specific parameter differences between older generation of phones and Anna/Belle that should be taken into consideration while setting up the VoIP in E6.
