View 19 RepliesI've had my e5-00 for about a year now and I could always get around 3 - 4 days of use out of it without charging. Now, after upgrading to 081.004, the battery doesn't even last for a day. I have to charge it approx. every 20 hours and that's without calling, texting, browsing or using the phone at all really. Wifi and bluetooth are turned off and I didn't change any other settings.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm really excited about the new E6 and has decided to buy it over the iPhone 3G S now available in India. But now my matter of concern is that I hear rumors that the talktime of the Nokia E6 is very less, much lesser than as claimed by Nokia!! Is this right?? Can anybody please clarify? Anybody having good and bad experiences with Nokia E6 are welcome to post their verdict on this phone
View 4 Replies View Relatedafter a full charge the battery life of my nokia e63 just last for 30 minutes in normal conditions..Is there any solution for this?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded from an E71 to the E5, primarly to get a better battery life. I use Exchange ActiveSync, with 15 minute checks. My service is AT&T 3.5G, and I keep the radio in dual mode. In a normal day on the E71, I could get 12 hours of use out of the phone before running the battery down.
Out of the box, same settings, my E5 is getting about 4-6 hours. Longer if I don't make any phone calls. But if I talk on the phone for 20-30 minutes, it will last around 4 hours total.
I am in the Dallas, TX market, and got the phone from Amazon. Has anyone else had similar experience? Any recommendation? This is really bad, and I am about ready to just return the phone to Amazon, and go back to my E71
I have purchased a new E6 two days back , the battery even does not last for more than a day, i have no background application running.

View 10 Replies View RelatedOverall, I like the user experience of Belle. What really sucks is the battery life: one day or less. Now I've found a "guide" to flash back Anna and am considering this step because I've read more than once that Anna is better on this side.Sincerely, when I had Anna I didn't notice these great performances, but maybe it depended on a young battery. So now I'd like to know if anyone can support the choice of Anna for increasing the battery life.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a user with a E72. It has the most up to date firmware. The user is finding that the battery does not last very long. By mid day the phone is almost out of life. He is not making lots of calls. Life goes while on standby. We have also brought a new battery, still has the problem. The battery is a genuine Nokia battery.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI got my E7 exactly a week back. The phone battery life is very poor. 8-10 hours to the max. What do I do? I am online at annoying time connected to my service provider but 8-10 hours is really bad. Also my emails do not sync immediately only does when I synchronize it. What do I Do? What are the settings for immediate sync?

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo my battery life on my iPhone 4 has become completely abysmal since I upgraded to the 4.1 OS. If I didn't use the iPhone at all during the day, I would get the end of the day with somewhere between 75 to 80% (and that's all day). Now, since the upgrade. I can watch the % drain literally while I sit there. It's down to 75% charge and it's only been 3 hours since a full charge. It's down to 15% by the end of the day. And this is with minimal to no use, no GPS usage, brightness turned down. Should I take this into Apple and find out what'sup?
View 24 Replies View RelatedIs anyone else suffering from greatly diminished battery life since the 5.1 update? My 4S (64Gb) was fine before, never had any issues, now it's eating battery charge,

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1
The upgrade fetched my iPhone 4S very poor battery life. After just 4 hours of normal usage (text, phone and very little email), the remaining battery is only 19%! The previous iOS gave me just a little more. The one that gave me the best battery life was the original iOS 5.0.1. Not sure how to downgrade or if there is a fix for this with the current iOS.
Wifi and location services were also OFF the whole time!
Info:
iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1
The battery of iPhone 4 (not S) after upgrading to iOS 5.1 dies in 10-12 hours to 10% with Wi-Fi and 3G turned on.
With iOS 5.0.1 it worked for 2-3 days.
If I turn off wi-fi and 3G it stays for 5 days.
It seems that it is definetly the software problem.
The same problem appears on some more 3 iPhones 4 I know.
When the patch could be released?

My Bold 9900 battery life has significantly worsened after the recent OS 7.0 Bundle 2406 upgrade. I had previously struggled to get through the day on one battery charge, but I typically could make it for a day with general business email use, limited calls and no internet browsing. Now after the recent 2406 upgrade, I only get about 50% as much battery life. Additionally, the small centre black box with the rotating white second hand is now a regularly occurring feature throughout the day, and I have had to pull my battery out to reboot my BlackBerry much more often. I have since stripped out all the apps, cut back on all other battery draining features (screen brightness, wifi, Bluetooth, gps, etc), and moved to 2G to extend my battery life. I was already unhappy with the poor BlackBerry Bold 9900 battery life, but after this latest upgrade, it's now unacceptable for business use when it only works for 1/2 a day. Hopefully this is a recognized RIM battery life issue for the Bold 9900 that's being quickly addressed.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI’ve got a BlackBerry Curve 8900 (ATT, running 4.2.0.108), and have had it since Oct. 2009. Battery life has always been OK - 24 to 48 hrs. between recharges.
Today though, after pulling it off the charger this morning around 8:00 a.m., I’ve noticed that I’m down to about 5% charge by 2:30 p.m. I have made no phone calls today, and have only sent/received a couple texts and rec’d two emails. I've never used a holster, have downloaded no apps, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are both off. No keys appear to be sticking. Absolutely nothing, to my knowledge, of any significance has changed on the phone since October, yet all of a sudden --literally, overnight --I am experiencing this greatly diminished battery life. The only even remotely precipitating factor I can think of is that I did a battery pull yesterday, after deleting some old photos and emails.
I’ve searched the forum, and most of the suggestions are along the lines of “turn off bluetooth/wi-fi/update OS,” but as noted, I never used those anyhow, and the OS has always been good to me.
My phone was working flawlessly before upgrade.. Now. it hangs and restarts automatically atleast 3 to 4 times a day. I haven't installed any new software or application, I am still working with same files which i was using before upgrade but phone is getting hang and restarts automatically.. I don't know what to do.Also, I don't know, whether it has any relation but my battery is also getting drained pretty fast. very weird behavior of my battery.. not getting charge properly even after 3 hours.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have just bough a Lexar 32GB class 10 Micro SD card that I am trying to use to replace the current 8GB class 4 card in my Nokia E72. I am trying to copy the data that is on the old card over to the new card. I have used the Nokia suite to make a backup and then resort that back up to the new card but then some of my apps are not there. I have also tried to copy the conents of the old card to the my computer using a card reader and then copy this to the new card (inclusing all hidden files, using Windows Explorer). This gets me more apps back but not everything. So, what is the best way to upgrade the memory card an keep all the data?
View 3 Replies View RelatedDuring upgrade(?) to 202.12.01.209.07, browser was downgraded. New one requires constant scrolling to read mobile sites. Some phone functions report "use original browser". View 2 Replies View Relatedi have re-purchased the joikuspot premium software for my new phone from Nokia Ovi Store. After i downloaded the program from Nokia website, i can use the software immediately. when i started to use the software, I was being reminded the availability of the new version 3.0. Therefore i went to joikuspot website using my phone E72 to update the software. However, after i installed the software, it ask me the 12 digit code which i do not have(Nokia did not issue me with the code). how do i get the 12 digit code from ovi store?
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy Nokia E6-00 is now dead, screen doesn't power up and Ovi Suite / PC doesn't regognize it. I upgraded Ovi suite to 3.90 prior installing this new firmware for the phone, during the firmware upgrade there was a error. It didn't connect to the phone anymore. Even if I did what the Ovi Suite suggested, battery off, usb cord back to the phone, battery back and then power on - still the upgrade wouldn't continue. I tried at least twice.
Situation is so that the phone haven't a firmware at all? Is the only way to get my phone working again, by going to a Nokia Care Point and let them flash it?
I have a E63 that works perfectly until I was asked to upgrade. Now checking my mail is a task can only push 2 email account ( could push up to 10 accounts at once before now). It comes only as headers ,which means I waste time connecting to read mails.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading by E7-00 with symbian Anna, my phone frequently runs out of memory. I used RAMinfo free, it shows 125MB free RAM. THis goes down to about 95MB with frequent usage (but all apps closed). However, with the free RAM still at around 95MB, I start getting "Insufficient Memory.close other applications" error.
The only apps running in the background are whatsapp (2.6.29) and socially. I have tried disabling socially for a day and the problem continues. DUring this time, if I scroll through homescreens, my widgets disappear randomly and new applications fail to launch.
I upgraded my software and now the Wlan connection is unable to connect. The phone says I'm already connect to a WLAN. But I haven't set up any access points yet and no other data connections are active. If I hold the end call key down the just beeps rather than ending any connections.I have reformatted the phone as per nokia guidelines and the software level according to the updater is o the 400 version.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded the firmware of my Nokia E71 to the latest version i.e. 500-21-009. I followed the instructions in Nokia site and took complete backup before upgrading and restored entire stuff after upgrade. Now, though my settings are intact as it was before upgrade and my operator (Airtel) also confirmed that my GPRS subscription is active, I can not connect to Web nor can check my emails. Whenever I attempt to browse, it gives an error message saying - 'Connection Not available'! In fact, I checked inserting my CIM card to another Nokia phone and could browse Internet with same GPRS settings as in E71.
