And the time before, and before, and everytime I use the goddam thing. Why wont this piece of $h!t remember my setting?

I'm not interested in loading any "homepage" automatically (that simply doesn't fit my Internet access patterns - I typically access one of a few pages and it's more efficient to use bookmarks to go to the right page directly in that case). I understand that I can choose empty page - that doesn't enforce unwanted data traffic nor loading time for useless pages (as opposed to a default homepage scenario), but it still requires two more clicks to get to bookmarks.

I've tried to watch some flash movies on nokia browser and opera 11 but it said to get flash player. On the link to adobe they don't have symbian os listed there. I've tried to install some versions of adobe flash player, but it said that doesn't support the sis. or on flash lite that it is already there What can I do? Maybe another browser with flash player support?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have just bough a Lexar 32GB class 10 Micro SD card that I am trying to use to replace the current 8GB class 4 card in my Nokia E72. I am trying to copy the data that is on the old card over to the new card. I have used the Nokia suite to make a backup and then resort that back up to the new card but then some of my apps are not there. I have also tried to copy the conents of the old card to the my computer using a card reader and then copy this to the new card (inclusing all hidden files, using Windows Explorer). This gets me more apps back but not everything. So, what is the best way to upgrade the memory card an keep all the data?

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy Nokia E6-00 is now dead, screen doesn't power up and Ovi Suite / PC doesn't regognize it. I upgraded Ovi suite to 3.90 prior installing this new firmware for the phone, during the firmware upgrade there was a error. It didn't connect to the phone anymore. Even if I did what the Ovi Suite suggested, battery off, usb cord back to the phone, battery back and then power on - still the upgrade wouldn't continue. I tried at least twice.
Situation is so that the phone haven't a firmware at all? Is the only way to get my phone working again, by going to a Nokia Care Point and let them flash it?

Now, after upgrading to 081.004, the battery doesn't even last for a day. I have to charge it approx. every 20 hours and that's without calling, texting, browsing or using the phone at all really. Wifi and bluetooth are turned off and I didn't change any other settings.

View 19 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading by E7-00 with symbian Anna, my phone frequently runs out of memory. I used RAMinfo free, it shows 125MB free RAM. THis goes down to about 95MB with frequent usage (but all apps closed). However, with the free RAM still at around 95MB, I start getting "Insufficient Memory.close other applications" error.
The only apps running in the background are whatsapp (2.6.29) and socially. I have tried disabling socially for a day and the problem continues. DUring this time, if I scroll through homescreens, my widgets disappear randomly and new applications fail to launch.
Any news or update in plans to upgrade the battery pack of nokia e7?

I followed the instructions in Nokia site and took complete backup before upgrading and restored entire stuff after upgrade. Now, though my settings are intact as it was before upgrade and my operator (Airtel) also confirmed that my GPRS subscription is active, I can not connect to Web nor can check my emails. Took all the usual precautions like removing remote lock (didn't reset the custom lock code to default) backup content to PC & memory card, then removed the card from the phone before upgrade. Then after upgrade and restoring settings inserted the card & was prompted for a password. Tried lock code/default lock code before and various other passwords before figuring out it might be the message text for the remote lock.
