I have a problem with my 808 and the missed calls symbol in the status bar. Whatever I do (e.g.. deleting the missed call list) the status bar always shows the missed call symbol, although there is certainly no missed call.
View 2 RepliesI love the new features that came with the Belle update, the email and social clients are great! but the only thing is that the mail client doesnt seem to sync mail "Read" status, so when i look at my mail on my N8, it will still be marked unread on my PC and vice versa.Is this an issue that is known and will it be fixed?

The breathing light seems to just breathe all the time in standby mode, which I find a little creepy... The little envelope that appears on the screen is hard to see in standby mode.Is there a notification like a flashing light or beep I can set up to have the phone let me know I missed a call / message? View 6 Replies View Relatedi upgraded my nokia e7 to nokia belle recently and I was very excited but after the update I found out that there no longer was a battery status showing the percentage left. I really liked the old battery status so you would know how much battery life is left. It is just a bit weird that a very good thing from the previous version is discontinued on the belle version.

Also when I press the green send key, no previously dialled numbers are shown. If I receive a missed call and press "show" I just get the home screen.

I have tried a hard reset and also reinstalling the software but to no avail and I am still left without these Pop Ups. I can't stand them not being on the screen when I get a missed call or a text message.

After downloading the sis file (ca 6.5 MB, Ovi Store), and starting the installation, finally I got the message that cannot Install. I think that QT libraries are correct (4.7.4)cause I installed fmobi from ovi store without any troubles. The only one file I could'nt install is Nokia Store.

Many people suggested in internet forums to make use of the middle window like touch key, such way that the touch switch can Illuminate or blink in such circumstance. If the battery is the concern, there can be a configuration option too, to set the blinking frequency , light intensity , etc.

But when I click on this entry, I get the message "Calendar: Memory full. Please close some applications and try again." This happens even when the phone is just restarted. There are no additional tasks in background.

I guess it happened since I installed BestBlacklist free applications from ovi site. Then I uninstalled that application and even restored factory settings, but notifications didn't come back. At the same time notification lights and logs working OK. How can I make those home screen notifications back?
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe Upgrade to Belle was nice (except for lost applications and the annoying fact, that WiFi is now "always-on"), but what bothers me most is, that the phone feels it necessary to show, that I'm using line 1 on the top status bar. I can understand that it's important to know, if I would be using line 2 accidentially, but since line 1 is the default, I don't want to know about it. So how do I get rid of this ugly "1" on top? The Nokia Maps app does pretty good nav but whereas e.g. TT will accept a postcode like CT16 2AB, Nokia Maps (or Drive as it is called; the Drive app shares the same database with the Maps app) accepts only CT162.
Today I tried to drive from Brighton (UK) to Biggin Hill Airport but Drive could not find Biggin Hill, which is weird. So I used an old Pocket/PC PDA with TT6 to get there. The Nokia apps did not show any roads/streets for a large area around the destination and on the way back it was about half an hour before I reached a map showing roads/streets. I deleted and reloaded the UK map (400MB) from Nokia and that fixed that bizzare issue, but having two ways to do the job is obviously desirable. And TT is a better app with a better database.

I downloaded Skype from OVI and it opens properly etc.but does not allow me to enter my password etc. and then reverts to the main screen. I am with Vodafone UK.

I also checked my product code 0599330 in the Nokia Belle availability page and it says available.
