My ynokia E7 no longer notifies me with the '1 message received' or '1 missed call' message whenever i receive a message or miss a call. the only way i know is the blinking notification light. for messages received, the message alert tone does not ring.
View 4 RepliesI have a problem with the missed call notification board on my E72. If say I have three missed calls form different numbers and I call one back using the available feature, the board will remove one of the other two numbers form the missed call notificaton board. I have not noticed a pattern in this behaviour. I have tried updating but none of the versions I got solved the problem. My Language set is 17.01.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently deleted 2000 messages from my inbox using the mark all/delete function. It seems though after this process my Xpress Music has started playing up. Text messages are only being received when i switch the phone off then on again they come through. Also, if i have missed a call and hit the log or - show missed calls button, the phone says no missed calls/ no information.Has anyone else experienced this problem and know of a fix?

I've got a Nokia E6-00. Sending messages and calling works fine. Receiving messages is a problem. When I ask someone to send me a text message, it doesn't come in either until I reboot my phone or until I open "sim messages". I've removed F-secure, rebooted several times and tried other sim cards from other providers. The problem is always present, regardless of simcard, provider or message length. I have enough memory left on the phone and the sim card.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI bought a Nokia XM 5800 almost 2 months ago, and its been great, except for it has recently stopped telling me that I have recieved a text. Previously it made a sound, and vibrated and gave me a little envelope in the corner, but now it does none of these and I have to check my inbox to see if I have any new messages. I have tried using the code to reset my phone settings and that failed. I have also tried turning my phone off, taking the battery out etc and these all had no effect. If you can help please tell me.

She was alone in the apartment both days and her phone was with her. I checked her call log (N95 8GB) and there were no calls made. I'm running 54.005 and Adv Communication Manager, whitelist only Don't know if this is relevant... sometimes my phone stops recognizing numbers that are in Contacts. It's done that with my wife's and daughter's numbers, then it went back to recognizing them with no action from me.

Everything changed on the second day of using E6.First, I've noticed, that missed event widget stopped working (with no config changes). Reinstalling the newest software solved the problem. Let's say partly, because "contact search" stopped working (also after turning it off and on again). This time, restoring phone to factory deffaults helped.I've had no problems for astonishing 4 days, when my missed event widget dissapeard again. Luckily, I knew how to repair it. It's enough to download 170MB of software and reinstall it.But it shew up, that my E6 doesn't want to bore me with the same issues. Today, I lost sound on incoming SMSes. I've tried everything, there is in settings with no effect.Please let me know, if you have any suggestions. I'm a Nokia fan, since I have never had any problems witch any of my Nokias.

While on the call, the recipients, signals was low and it its loss the connectivity, my phone gets stuck for 2,3 min with disconnect icon.
