I got a Bokia E72 after being fascinated with E71. What shocked me was the big number of disconnections or call drops faced in the middle of calls although the signal is at its best. I am thinking of updating it to the latest firmware hoping that it'd solve the problem.

I need to manually update all my homescreen widgets, Nimbuzz or any other online app disconnects in the background mode, even while browsing, if idle for a minute it gets disconnected, i have to refresh my wifi connection after every minute.!!

While on the call, the recipients, signals was low and it its loss the connectivity, my phone gets stuck for 2,3 min with disconnect icon. When the icon is gone, I'm not able to make any call till I reset the unit. Also when I select the phone in to offline mode. The phone restart automatically. I did hard reset and .Etc. I called my phone with another phone and got the normal call connected signal. Outgoing calls are possible but when dialing some numbers it shows a "not allowed" error message...After a restart it works fine again.

My phone locks itself after 1 minute, which is fine, but when I receive an incoming call I am unable to activate the call by pressing the call button (left hand side button). Instead I have to unlock the phone and go through the menu's before I can answer my call.Surely this cannot be correct.
