I have just started using a Nokia E6 and I am having a problem answering an incoming call. My phone locks itself after 1 minute, which is fine, but when I receive an incoming call I am unable to activate the call by pressing the call button (left hand side button). Instead I have to unlock the phone and go through the menu's before I can answer my call.Surely this cannot be correct.

the software is up to date
Question about the above subject, can someone help confirm that we can't surf while on the call? or it is just my plan.

Well, This has to be a basic feature of a smart phone (infact, any phone)
if there is a number being displayed on the screen ... USER CAN MAKE A CALL TO IT.
But unfortunately NOKIA has failed to provide this BASIC FUNCTION.
Is there any hope of getting this BASIC feature in next update?
When going in "locked" mode for keys and screen (automatically, or by doing it myself via the Key lock switch ), this also locks the "call key", making it impossible to answer an incoming call by merely pressing the call key. I first have to unlock keys and screen by using the Key lock switch. I have all the latest updates installed and already tried the obvious like restarting the phone, getting called by several fixed and mobile phones (to detect a 'pattern' - without success, as strangely enough 1 time out of 10 the key DOES respond as expected), changing the settings for the automatic key-locking,.
View 19 Replies View RelatedWhen making or receiving a call, the caller or the person I am calling cannot hear me. If I turn on speaker, they can hear me. This is a new iPhone 4, I traded in my 1 year old iPhone 4, because it also was having this issue, & the apple store staff could not fix it.
I have tried turning on/off, plugging in ear buds and unplugging them, cause I heard that could help, & syncing the phone. Nothing has worked yet that I have tried.

I've had my shiny Galaxy S6 for nearly three weeks now. I bought it SIM free. Really loving the phone, but I've noticed that when I try to answer a call, the phone hangs-up instead. I have good signal and I can ring the person back immediately. At first I thought I was hanging up with my cheek, but it happened when I was in slow traffic in my car yesterday. The phone was sat in a mount, connected to Bluetooth. I used the car's controls to answer and had the same issue.
I've spoken to people who call me, and they say the call just ends with a beep, it doesn't go to voice mail. I've tested calling my S6 from another mobile and a land line and the problem happens every time.
If I tap reject, the call is sent to voice mail, so I'm not pressing the wrong button.
I've tried:
-Enabling/disabling single tap mode
-Enabling home key to answer calls
-Wiping the phone's cache partition using the Android system recovery menu
-Using a Bluetooth headset to answer calls
-Uninstalling Three InTouch, my network's Wi-Fi call app (I can answer calls if they come through this app)
I'm in the UK. Phone is SM-G920F ZKABTU, baseband G920FXXU1AOE3, CSC version G920FBTU1AODQ. I haven't rooted it.
Ive already set up and have registered "SIP setting", but how to make call via this inbuilt sip of my Nokia E52? I have not any "internet tel" in my phone accroding to manuals on net....Of course, talkonaut or nimbuzz is working good

I called my phone with another phone and got the normal call connected signal. Outgoing calls are possible but when dialing some numbers it shows a "not allowed" error message...After a restart it works fine again.

While on the call, the recipients, signals was low and it its loss the connectivity, my phone gets stuck for 2,3 min with disconnect icon. When the icon is gone, I'm not able to make any call till I reset the unit. Also when I select the phone in to offline mode. The phone restart automatically. I did hard reset and .Etc.
