So, you get a new message, there normally is like a little rectangle, that says ' 1 new messages ' with an envelope, well, I don't get those anymore, Only the little light goes, but there's no notion that I have a new message.

By the way, where should notification light be appear on phone? (center button?) When there is message or missed call, I cannot see any light come up on any part of phone.
Previously I had to format and factory reset my nokia e7 , after the format I found out that when I send and SMS and I receive the delivery , the notification light start blinking , and as soon as I touch the touch screen or press on any of the phone buttons ( like the home key, volume or unlock ) it stops blinking , I'm sure it only has to blink when I receive an SMS , not when I receive a delivery.

I got a unknown icon at my home screen. It appear right to the date and left for the battery status. I dont fint it in my manual.
Its very small blue box with a white line inside it.
This is the problem that I have been facing since I have purchased this phone(2years now). I am not using nokia push mail or even nokia mails at all. I have selected packet data Connection setting as "When Needed".
This happens every time I connect to the internet using mobile network and then remains there forever until either I restart Phone or go to offline mode. This is so annoying because it is not using any data though it is there.
There is a dotted lines below the E sign as you can see in the attachment.
I have a NOKIA E51 phone.I am transferring my SIM card to a new NOKIA E71.I have dozens of SMS messages (in several folders) on my Nokia E51.I dont want to lose them. I'd much rather keep them.How do I transfer these messages (and folders) onto my new E71 ?Unfortunately, I cant see any way to store them on the SIM card itself.Or is there a way?

This is now seriously bugging me - I didn't subscribe to it (my wife uses Ovi Store and doesn't get these messages). I keep thinking I am popular but no, it's just Ovi Nokia App telling what i already know! How do I get rid of it? I have tried to reply and send 'STOP' but it won't let you reply. I would like the sent messages to be uploaded to the imap server into a specified folder, not in the sent items folder on the phone. I don't find this settings.

The only option when selecting them is to delete, which removes them from the conversation threads. It doesn't seem to be related to service, but to whether I am using the phone for any other purpose at the time.
2) When connected to a car BT system, shut off car, BT seems to go into a black hole. You can't reconnect, can't make a call (well, it makes a call, but you can't hear anything; can't play music, etc.). The only solution is reboot. This happens with multiple systems in different brands of auto, so not limited to one brnad.
Homescreen notifications widget does not work on my E7 suddenly. It is completely blank on home screen.

I have a problem with the missed call notification board on my E72. If say I have three missed calls form different numbers and I call one back using the available feature, the board will remove one of the other two numbers form the missed call notificaton board. I have not noticed a pattern in this behaviour. I have tried updating but none of the versions I got solved the problem. My Language set is 17.01.

How do I reset this so it is displayed again. I am using an E52 with 54.003 installed.
I'm hopping this turn out to be something amazingly simple, something I've accidentally touched or selected. It wasn't on purpose if it was. For some reason, text notifications are no longer appearing on the bottom left corner of my screen. Instead, they are now appearing up on the top right by my battery indicator. This is more than a little inconvenient as it's so much smaller than the bottom left option making it harder to touch correctly. Is there any way I can change it back to the bottom left again?

But since it kept draining the battery, I deleted it by highlighting the application and pressing the delete button.It was successful in removing the application but then unfortunately the wifi icon on the top is always on.Does this mean my wifi is always on? Or that icon which looks like "four squares" (vaguely similar to the windows logo, loosley speaking) stands for something else?
