I'm Using Nokia E5 (00). It was working fine in start but now 1 year has been passed and when 3, 4 SMS text messages received by me altogether, I read them all but SMS sign in lower display keep displaying a new msg notification thought there have been not any new unread msg left.

1. 'notification'
2. 'check in' (message appear 'system error')

- Breathing light is set to On - Notificat.light is set to 1h and checked both Missed call and New message
By the way, where should notification light be appear on phone? (center button?) When there is message or missed call, I cannot see any light come up on any part of phone.
I have a problem with the missed call notification board on my E72. If say I have three missed calls form different numbers and I call one back using the available feature, the board will remove one of the other two numbers form the missed call notificaton board. I have not noticed a pattern in this behaviour. I have tried updating but none of the versions I got solved the problem. My Language set is 17.01.

How do I reset this so it is displayed again. I am using an E52 with 54.003 installed.
I'm hopping this turn out to be something amazingly simple, something I've accidentally touched or selected. It wasn't on purpose if it was. For some reason, text notifications are no longer appearing on the bottom left corner of my screen. Instead, they are now appearing up on the top right by my battery indicator. This is more than a little inconvenient as it's so much smaller than the bottom left option making it harder to touch correctly. Is there any way I can change it back to the bottom left again?
View 1 Replies View RelatedPreviously I had to format and factory reset my nokia e7 , after the format I found out that when I send and SMS and I receive the delivery , the notification light start blinking , and as soon as I touch the touch screen or press on any of the phone buttons ( like the home key, volume or unlock ) it stops blinking , I'm sure it only has to blink when I receive an SMS , not when I receive a delivery.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a nokia E5 phone which I use as just a Mail for Exchange Checker/ Bicycle GPS/Internet and general all around disposable phone.For a $40 phone it is just fantastic! It does so much for so little. I just wish nokia made their phones more apps friendly.My E5 does not have a mobile carrier phone plan since I have another phone that does that. This E5 is set up as a rough duty phone for the phone features such as sports tracker.
For the phone to work with WIFI with Mail for Exchange's auto email retreival, (since I don't have data since my phone has no service) I had to get an old expired sim card from another phone. (won't auto retreive with phone in offline mode)But the phone always displays "Sim card registration failed" and I have to click out of it constantly. Is there a way to remove that notification? I already know that it failed. It's an expired card just to get the phone to work in General mode.
I have bought a Nokia E71 from a friend and when trying to download something from the Ovi store it asks for my user name and password, but says my user name and password are wrong and won't connect. I am using the same ones I use to connect to Ovi on my computer and it accepts them OK. Could this be because the previous owner's user name and password have been stored somewhere on the phone and as a security measure it won't let me in with my user name and password?
Does anyone know what I can do to be able to log in to Ovi on my phone so that I can download an application? The one I want at the moment is Sports Tracker so that I can check how many miles I do when going for a walk. I could perhaps find it online and download straight from their website, but I do really need to be able to download things through Ovi if required.
My problem is, when the phone goes in an area where there's no service, the 3G icon shows up in the right top corner, but when I go back to the area that has service, the 3G icon won't go away and I can't make any calls nor receive. only solution is to turn off the phone and turn back on. can you help me about that, how I can receive service again without restarting the phone?

I have just compared E-63 and 5233 both the phones have same 2 mega pixel camera and also have same resolution of 1600*1200 and there is a huge difference between in there pictures which are clicked at the same time and location when i m seeing in the PC.
