The status/notification bar (or whatever its called) is not 'pulling down'. I've switched phone off and on a few times. Pressed the little red button next to sim card slot....nothing is working.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy experience (using Torch) over the past 4 months was that there has been a of battery pulling to reset the phone. I don't think its a very good idea, my phone will last much too long that way, the back cover will give way any time sooner than I would expect (2-3 years on my other phones). Is there another way for this reset thing.. like software trigger, etc. I don't remember having to do this way in my other phones befor

I have an old mSD card that was in my original LG Chocolate, that has been sitting in my LG Dare ever since I got it. I figured going from one LG phone to another it would have worked fine, but I was never able to access the pictures on it. Now I still want to get the pictures off the card so I can then format it and move some of the new ones off my Dare as well. However, when I insert the mSD card into my PC, all I get are "encrypted" looking files that aren't accessible by anything.
View 6 Replies View RelatedSince 5.1.1 I have a stutter in all Google apps and some other ones as well. The device itself is running very smoothly but once in app, Newsstand, Play Store, Google Music etc. the whole app stutters and lags.
It is most noticeable when I am pulling out menu from left, the whole animation just stutters, the same happens after I select anything, like setting. I have Wiped the device and nothing changed, clearing only cache doesn't work either.
my iPhone Mail as well as the Mail app on my Macbook have been showing replies in the inbox from Gmail. For instance, I will receive an email from someone and it will show up fine, then when I reply, my sent message will show up in the thread.
This has started about 2 days ago and is making it tough to manage my mail. I am running the newest version of the iPhone software and Mountain Lion on the Macbook.

I've tried things on the internet, but no success.I've installed an app and remove from BB which doesn't remove icon. Some say the BB has to be Rebooted to clean up left over things. I find this unusual that a normal user wouldn't know how to uninstall apps properly especially having to reboot.I want to be able to restart (reboot) my BB without pulling the battery.

Phone was acting funny so I pulled the battery to reset. Now when I put it back in the red light comes on for about 20 or 30 seconds and then goes off and nothing happens and the phone is dead. Tried plugging in the charger and nothing happens, still dead.

Is there a way of pulling the data off the phone if you don't have any visual feedback? I've powered it off and on, so my first problem is the encrypted volume login, followed by the normal login, followed by getting to the USB setting pulldown to activate MTP. is there a good way of wiping the volume short of just unlocking the bootloader and formatting the data partition? does the bootloader need to be unlocked to do that?

When I try to do this I ensure the phone's keyboard is locked i.e. the screen is lit and the slider with a lock on the left and the speaker on the right is on. I have wallpaper on the home screen and the clock is displayed. I have tried this with the screen unlit, I have tried this in safe mode, I have tried this with the old sim in, with the new sim in, I have tried this in safe mode - everything. If the power lock button is touched it locks and the screen darkens, hit it again the screen lights no problem. However it does power down again very quickly if no buttons are touched tried to set this for the longest time possible - makes no difference. At present I'm running Android 2.1. which I upgraded to last month.

I turned off the battery status with stamina and percentage of battery cause of overcrowded status bar!!So I have to use during battery saver pro battery indicator instead of Sony(it's just a little circle with percentage).

I've just had a small update to my Z3 and the status bar has reverted to a blue colour rather than the transparent that it usually is. It only occurs when using the Google Now Launcher, and is fine using the Xperia one..

View 4 Replies View RelatedI bought xperia z2 2 weeks ago. Just today my phone went crazy. The screen started detecting random touches every where _ghost touches_. I switched it off several times until the problem was solved . But apparently a new problem appeared. Now I can't scroll down the notification bar. I went to diagnostics where I could test the device. I tested the touch input and surprisingly the status bar area detects nothing at all. The screen works responds properly except for the upper most part ( status bar area). So I guess that this is a software problem .
