I upgraded to Lollipop 5.1.1 recently using Sony updates. However I am having a strange problem now. The phone shuts down when pulled out of a power source though battery status is above 80%. If I plug back the phone into a power supply and restart, I am able to use the phone without any problem. Is my battery dead? It has been about 1.5 years now with this phone. Tried restarting in safe mode as well but the phone still shut down when pulled out of power supply.

My mobile detects a network properly but when I connect, it shows status Conecting, then it switches to Scanning and in the end shows Disconnected. I've tried it on several hot spots but to no avail. Whenever it is stressed (loading websites, opening an app, searching network, sending an imessage,...) it simply turns off. I am not able to turn it on without connect it to power source. The display is black and if I try it to turn on there is the apple but then it turns black again. After a few failed attempt there is the simbol of no battery again (before turning off there was enough). Then, after connectet it, it turns on and behold there is enough battery again, for example 60%.

i was on instagram and i was texting one of my friendsand then i went downstairs it was perfectly fine when i left it in my room. Then i came back up to check instagram again and it wouldnt turn on. This had happened before but it came back on after like 1 hour but i really need my phone. Even i plug it into the charger it wont come back on i had at least 60% of battery when i left it. What should i do?

Sometimes when I activate my phone, there is no wifi icon at the top on the status bar, then after a few minutes it appears. View 3 Replies View RelatedGetting quite frustrated with this phone now. I've had my BlackBerry Curve over a year now, and I'm on a 2 year contract with Orange. But I've had this problem. My phone will be fine when it's plugged into my computer or my charger, but when I take it out and start to use it, sometimes within 5 minutes, sometimes within hours, it can come up with this whiteness filling the screen. This leaves me with no choice but to take the battery out.
Then after that it refuses to turn on until I plug it in again. This is annoying me to the extreme because I can spend hours waiting for it to charge, then when it's fully charged I'll take it out, go out, put music on or something and it'll go off yet again. Sometimes it can just cut off without the white screen. Even then it won't turn back on without a power source. I've tried updating the software and that won't work.
I have nokia X7 at first I have no problem connecting to wifi. I can connect and can browse internet but after a week can still connect to wifi but the problem is a can't connect to the internet I can't open even google and it says "Browser unable to connect to website". And it also happening at home sometimes i can connect to wifi and can brows to internet but most of the time I cant browse to internet and at my work until now I cant open internet via wifi even the connection is 100%. And when I check to connection manager "status connection (inactive). I also do restore factory settings but I have same problem, I didn't change any setting in my nokia x7.

I can connect to my WiFi -- it shows as connected, strong connection etc. But when I try to go to any site on my browser I get "Unable to find the requested server. This is on my home wifi. But my laptop and WiFi are still fine so it's only on my phone. However, I discovered I am able to connect to other wifis - just not the one at home. The problem originated right when I was downloading some software upgrades. I wasn't really paying much attention to what I was doing and I'm not even sure how I got into downloading these upgrades because I'd never done that before. Anyway, one of the downloads seemed to have got stuck mid-way through downloading.

However, my PC and iPad will connect without any issue. I have tried resetting the network, routers, and cable modem. I have also tried resetting the iPhone network settings as indicated in the discussions. I've looked at the airport Utility and and only strange item I notice is that the AirPort Express is broadcasting on the 5GHZ channel, which I understand the iPhones only work at 4GHZ. I'm out of options.

When I go into Location Settings if I click to change the GPS Data Source from 'none' it comes up with a black box round the word none. The same thing happens when I scroll to Location Off, it just comes up with a black box and does not offer any other options. The Location Data is Enabled and it will also let me change to Disabled or Disabled while Roaming. how I can switch my GPS Data Source on. Maybe this is why I cannot access the Facebook Places application??

Both my iPhone 4s and my son's iPod touch are connecting ok. I've switched his wifi on and off, switched the phone on and off and reset network settings but it is still not working. In my wifi options our network has a tick against it but on his the processing circle thing is against it.

when i try and connect it to my WiFi it doesnt do anything. By this i mean that it doesn't connect but also an error message doesn't pop up. The little loading icon just stays there the whole time and doesn't make any progress. It has been like this for about 2 or 3 weeks now and i haven't updated it or done anything that might have caused this problem. Occasionally i do get the blue signal lines at the top of my screen but they disappear as soon as i try and do something with the internet. I am currently on version 5.0.1.

I have had my iphone 4s since the end of March with no problems, yet withing the last week or so it doesn't seem to be able to access the wifi properly, even when it shows me having full wifi signal. I noticed the problem first on facebook but just thought it was a fault with facebook, then i found that i was having connection problems in safari, app store, spotify etc. My laptop still connects fine so i dont think its a problem with the hub. I have tried resetting the network settings, checked for updates, restarted the phone but nothing seems to be working. the connection occasionally works for a couple of minutes then it just goes again.

I have just recently bought an iphone 4, however it wont connect to my home wifi. when i select my bt-homehub from the networks the circle just keeps spinning as if its loading, everything else like laptops etc are connected to the wifi so it cant be my hub, and when i go to a friends house and to the phones4u shop my iphone connects to their wifi and has a tick beside it so i know its connected and has the wifi signal in the top left hand corner whereas when im home my iphone has an E in the top left corner, My mum is able to go on wifi using her samsung phone. ive tried resetting everything and turning my iphone on and off and ive called my internet provider and they say everythings fine with the wifi hub.
